and yes, I agree with what you've said.. it's such common sense, as is pretty much everything else in our beautiful religion.. if only people cared to see it in that light!

There was a special on Geo the other day about this issue.. both the Sunni and Shia ulema agreed that the only time that a suicide attack could be allowed is if you are in a state of warfare and there is no other way to defend yourself than to sacrifice yourself.. otherwise, it is considered just suicide and is haram. There is NO way that an assassination attempt or whatnot can in anyway be construed as justified, but I guess they brainwash these people into thinking that they are in a "jihad" against the "bad" Muslims or something like that.. really sick stuff!
