Concept & Set Direction: Mehreen Arshad & Asad Khan


Asad Khan lives in Toronto and divides his time between working for an IT firm during the day, and on music at other times. During evenings and weekends, Asad slips in and out of many roles including lyricist, instrumentalist, vocalist, song-writer, composer, sound engineer and producer.

The much anticipated debut album by Asad Khan titled "Lafz Taraash" is being released by The Musik Records and its counterpart channel The Musik. Word on the street is that there hasn't been a more original album out of Pakistan in the recent years than this.

original out of pakistan maybe. But the genre and sound of his music is nothing new. sounds like angrez music with urdu lyrics. lets see what the rest of the album is like.

There is nothing such as angrez music! Rock music has been famous ever since junoon first entered the arena... Rock music goes back to as early as 1958 in Pakistan... don't complain!

Nothing original......nothing entertaining....nothing visually, musically or vocally inspiring....nothing that will make me listen to it more than once. Sorry man...u need something more to make it in this industry.

Is all you people do is complain? You should appreciate new artists rather than cry about their music everytime they launch a song!

Thats the usual reaction these artists have to suffer everytime they launch a song! It was a good song... i dunno what you found wrong with it!

nothing special at all. I've seen his video many times on The Muzik...but never found the song appealing at all.
