You can afford to be embarrassed but not the rest of the country or cricketing body

I can't believe it. It is very difficult to accept that Afridi would do soemthing wrong like this. I can't wait for afridi's interview or something: where he explains this by himself about what really happened.

On the other note i am won't be surprised at the behavior of match referee and his panel. It is what nasser hussain said it like, If its pakistanis then the bans fines and harsh punishments are given out. If its english or any other cricketers then they are just told off by " please kindly be careful next time ". Double standards still rule the game, how nice. Well as they say , what goes around come back around and I am sure these double standards would one day hit them in their faces.

lets hope and pray that he doesn't get banned for more than 3 matches. if he does then he wont be able to play in the twenty20 world cup

No matter what Afridi now says, A heavy ban will happen and you mentioned why.

if PCB wants some leniency from ICC then they should go to BCCI and ask for support. Keep cursing IPL here won't do the job for them. go to uncle SAM of cricket and ask for some supoort

And thats what hurts me the most. Had Stuart broad and James Anderson been fined and banned for their conduct, I would expect the same for Afridi as well. But those two english players were not punished for ball tampering.
