To all who blasted Pakistani batting in SF - Talk nah
Well pakistan came close a little luck and we would have been in final, what you say now when might SL batting line up gets crushed LOL

what does stupidity of pak batting have to do with any other team? pitch made afridi bat like an idiot? pitch made kakmal and shoaib throw away their wickets? pitch made hafeez drop razzaq? the reasons why we lost to SL have nothing to do with anyone besides pakistan, we had it in our hands and we blew it through bad planning and worse execution, but it happens in sport so no worries there. every game has a winner and loser and it wasn't our day. but these kinds of threads are pointless and look to take blame away from those that deserve it.

yes pitch made afridi hit the first ball he faced for six, he's never done that before on better pitches

this is what happens when you use a fourth day wicket for a t20....akmal got out because of the wicket when fast bowlers cutters are gripping and spitting like offies, nasir jamshed got a roughie....and generally the wicket was very very stop start... i dont mind fair wickets but fair wickets have consistent bounce and carry ....they dont look like a $2 hooker's fanny...

the pitch was bad and i'm not bitter about the loss but with 49 needed in 6 overs with 6 wickets pakistan had the match and they blew it. They'd done the hard work just couldn't bring it home.

I agree with the rest but Nasir was not out...Got wrong decision from retard Umpire.
I still believe had nasir survived that stupid decision..then we would have won that match.
Because if we observe, we can see that in all those matches where pakistan won Nasir was the main trumph card getting runs and atleast half century on average in all those games.
Except in two games where nasir was given out wrongly (both against india and srilanka) we have lost.

yaar phir wohi baat. Two Negatives don't make it right.
SL fell trap in their own net but Pakistan batting is a big concern regardless. What we need is to get someone who can just glue himself to the wicket and avoid being defensive and stupid. We can have a solution at our hand.
I agree with you that pitch was substandard, but Pakistan's batting is a big concern in itself. This is not the first time we have been inept on playing on a bit testing surface.
