David Lloyd can suck it. A lot of people probably haven't seen the crazy atmosphere at a college football (american) game... I for one love the blowing of the horns and whistles, it creates a lively environment, its get the crowd pumping. People have their ways of expressing joy at events taking place on the field...to each his own.

I don't know what's more hilarious....
People who are actually supporting the blowing of horns at sports games,
or
the very people who're criticizing the blowing of horns only to suggest chants like "Jeetagay bhai Jeetayga/Pakistan Zindabad" are awesome..LOL
Comedy gold all around..
Either way, most people know my views regarding atmosphere at cricket games, in particular cricket games with South Asian supporters....

It's pretty huge here down in South. I want cricket to be exactly like that. PAK vs AUS should generate as much fun as Texas vs USC...then it will be fun...blowing wuvuzelas all around.

Just finished watching the highlights again.. Those horns are really fucked up.
And Zain "Jeetagay bhai Jeetayga/Pakistan Zindabad" might not be the most creative chants but they are still better than those ridiculous horns.

Something new? something witty? Something original? This Jeetayga bhai jeetayga Pakistan/India Jeetayga/Hindustan/Pakistan Zindabad" is really pathetic, is that the best we can come up with?
Chants at sports games are NOT supposed to be ONE CHANT, they're supposed to be wind ups, something for each individual player, something to mock opposition, recall memories and instances...if you only have 1 or 2 chants the entire game, players and supporters themselves would hardly find it enticing enough to listen or cheer.
If you're looking for examples just within cricket..Check the Barmy Army for instance...you can't get bored listening to some of the stuff they come up with, not to mention they know how to create an atmosphere....
Otherwise look to European Rugby or football fans...
There was a reason Vuvuzelas were criticized ever ever so much this World Cup by supporters and players alike, and thankfully Germany have banned it within their own country.

They are better but they're still shit.. but like Sarem himself said, can you really see crowds enjoy saying that for the entire game? or the players getting spurred on hearing that the entire game?
The answer is no...
so there needs to be more variety!

Dude don't compare football and cricket now.. Different sports, different crowds. I've lost count on how many times we have had this discussion now. About the Barmy Army, well they are an exception. If the Pakistani fans don't come up with stuff like that, that's still fine as long as they just leave those horns at home!

LOL if not then they should just STFU and sit down. Still better than the horns
It's unrealistic to expect people to chant throughout an ODI match anyway, let alone T20's.

Cr7, you say the same thing everytime, different sports different crowds...
how are the crowds different? The ONLY difference IS, one crowd can create an atmosphere and can come up with different witty stuff that is clever and loud..The other one just repeats the same thing over and over..
Both crowds have mouths, both crowds can shout, both crowds have brains, both crowds love their teams, both crowds want their teams to do well, both crowds want to create an atmosphere and make themselves intimidating to the opposition fans and players, both want to lend their teams full support..
So what really is the difference? The only difference I see is one type of crowd actually so something when the atmosphere sucks, while the other just sits back and accepts the fact that they are 'different' and so we cannot do anything about it!
