there are 5 specialist bowlers........2 bowling allrounders.....3 openers....excluding kamran akmal who will open.....
now any1 from there could have been dropped......RIDICULOUS sqad

Is there such thing as losing ability or talent? NO!!!!! Yes but there is such thing as being out of form and losing confidence now don't say he's a super human and won't experience such phase ever in his career. I wonder if you'd understood the context of the post before going all sentimental.

its not sentimental, n he can b out of form, bad patch, but i dont know he'l lose his confidence or not, but surely, he'l not b treated like misbah, malik, younus or yousuf. i remember, inzamam was going through bad form, n he came to bat n crease say bahir nikal k pehli ball he strong hit lagai for boundary. he was so energetic n want to end his bad patch but jaldi out ho gaya uss innings main. n i guess, he'l b fight the same way as inzamam n other great players do.

misbah/malik ki tarah blocking nahi start kar day ga form wapis lanay k liye. but again, if u see his batting record, he had couple of failures in terms of scoring, pehli duck b record main aa gai hai. i've seen such a good player in pak team after a decade i guess.

It's wayyyyyy to early and silly to say he'll become another Inzimam or won't end up Malik or Misbah (these guys are now out of form but they certainly had bigger moments to cherish than Akmal jr) Or unless you're making these claims by seeing what the crystal ball in front of you showing? Anyway, I hope he climbs the ladder of scuccess as fast as he can.

ok take it the other way, fawad kab say team main hai but koi farq nahi para team main, but jaisay he umar akmal aya team main, senior players pay pressure aa gaya perform karnay ka, n now misbah ki chutti ho gai, n dosray seniors k liye b khatra hai,

so after 10 or 15 years, aisa he koi or great player aya team main tu phir zaror umar akmal ka place khatray main ho sakta hai bad form pay. average players say koi khatra nahi umar akmal ko. n it'l not b a big deal, agar 1-2 series, ya kuch months k liye team say out b ho jaiy. after the retirement of younus, yousuf, misbah, afridi, malik, he'l b the senior player n permanent member of the team.

Long term main socho tu current player main koi uss k karib karib nazar nahi aata, baqi allah knows better.

Again only if he carries his form long enough to cement his place as player, otherwise he'll be another from based hit or miss player. In short performing in next series would be real turning point for Umar, he showed the trailer now lets how good of a film he is. anyway, I got what you're saying and I hope you got he point too.

well, talent, technique n abilities ki baat hai. misbah ko proper chance mila after the retirement of inzimam when misbah was above 30. malik ko saqlain ki jaga as off spinner all rounder chance mila whereas, inzimam ko pure batsman chance mila tha early age main n he availed his chance n was successful. same goes for umar akmal, is ko b early age main as pure batsman chance mila, n he is successful. umar akmal malik/misbah ki category ka player he nahi hai, so how can he end up their way. wo jis category ka player hai, usi main parakhna chahiye uss ko.

With Umar Akmal and Abdul Razzaq in the ODI side.. it's gonna be difficult for Fawad to cement his place in the team anyway..

At least he's been included in the test squad!
