which player is better head to head on the field?

well no doubt its wasim who is much better player but imran was a much better captain.

no doubt it will be imran khan....he did it all for pak and so did wasim akram...

head to head....wasim bhai rocks.....but if u consider mental strength and captainship ability....then yea imran khan....hes a better all-round package

head to head both are very good bowler but imran khan is great cricketer because if the wasim is great bowler cauz of imran khan he teach to wasim how to bowl blah blah

Imran Khan was arguably the best all-rounder of all-time. Wasim isn't even worthy of tying Imran's shoe laces. Imran carried the attack for years on his own, dismissed whole teams on his own, took out top order batsmen consistently in a tougher era and with the new ball as opposed to Wasim who knocked over tail-enders the majority of the time and was weak with the new ball....Imran had a better average despite being a medium-pacer for the first part of his career.

Imran was also a fine batsman who averaged well over fifty for two-thirds of his career.

No competition. Wasim was an underachieveing match-fixer who was a disgrace to his talent and wasted his career on Lancashire rather than Pakistan.

There is no doubt that both are legends. Imran taught Wasim abt reverse swing and other stuff. Imran was a good captain, under his rule nobody did any stupid things. Discipline was really very good.

Wasim captaincy was ok, although he was a gr8 bowler but under his captaincy Pak lost the WC finals in 99. And the way they lost is a shame. Then few questions arises onto the heads of everybody whether the final was fixed or what.
Well I don't want to argue abt 99 Final.

But truly speaking nevertheless, Wasim hold the world record and world recognizes him but I would say Imran is better than Wasim and in every aspect.

In terms of more respect, Imran Khan owns Wasim Akram. Wasim Akram was just a legend bowler, also called "Match Fixer".

i would say Imran Khan 100%! because he was captain and good at all levels of the game! he is the captain who brought us home the world cup! wasim akram on the other hand bowled and even though his bowling was the best that the world has seen , it was still just bowling! but imran khan was captain and good at all areas in the game...so in between khan and akram, its definitley khan
