Just read the news in Jang Newspaper that PCB has made contacts with Johty Rhodes for official coach.

If this news is authentic then I think its a good move. We have lost the series because of bad fielding.

Well I don't uderstand how every one is so upbeat. the Best fielder is not the Best fielding Coach necesesarily. Otherwise we Won't have Bob Woolmer as our Coach. Now fielder can learn to dive and field like Jonty roads on Pitches in Pakistan. There needs to be work on setting up the grounds properly and then get a proper coach rather then getting the best players and putting them in coaching position.

itz is a good move but he also have to understand that inzi wont move frm his fielding place meanin that he will not run or dive. other than that we do need a fielding coach and with the request of bob woolmer, jonty might come to help pakistan

i think pakistans are just underacheivers when it comes to fieldings.

Look at the indians they were great in the field. If you looked umar gul in the second ODI he dived all over the ground. Indians got some young blood in the team and now there fielding has improved considerably. About a yr ago after pathan there best bowler was nehra. They kicked him out b/c he sucked in the field and the other bowlers in line were not that bad.

It not like the conditions of gorunds in pakistan are worse then india. If i had to predict i would say that its not all that different yet they still field great. Pakistan have to priortize the fielding aspect of the game at the grass root level.

I dont understand this craze for coaches these days,every time a team loses they tend to think they lacked some coaching some where,its simple mistakes that the team commited in dropping crucial catches out of pressure.

Outswinging coaches
Wicket keeping coaches
Leg spining coaches
Off break coaches
Doosra coaches
Target Chasing coaches
Target Defending coaches
Coaches to pick coaches
the list goes on
there can be a huge list of coaches waiting in the wings to help Pak team win matches.this is ridiculous,one coach who gets paid should be able to coach a lot of things including fielding,which is no rocket science
