has any noticed. quite a few batsmen trying that shot ever since misbah got out in the T20 final. walking across the stumps, trying to play a shot in the fine leg region.

it's actually afridi's shot .....remeber what he did to ntini in janoury 2007 SA vs PAk Odi???....he completley frustrated ntini by getting a four towards fine-leg everytime by this shot
and only afridi can play it to the perfection
it only got famous with mishbah because of the situation and timing otherwsie afridi has been playing this shot for a long long time
it was a regular shot before Misbah.....plenty of players had played it many times before.....its an easy shot to get runs off.....u dont need power or timing.....thats why so many players play it in T-20 but it has nothing to do with Misbah....Andrew Strauss scored a test century with like 8 fours off that shot and Ashraful also plays it very regularly
Lol!!For a minute i thought Misbah got shot!!Whoever said Miandad invented is right!!Its a very hard shot to master, I think Afridi's doing a good job playing it..But Misbah doesn't have to use it alot..Thats the only way he gets out!!
