Mooda Kills It again, Defo needs to be in our t20 squad!
3 wickets for 16 in 4 overs with one maiden and 51 runs in good time!
why this guy isnt in our team is a mystery!
he is performing against domestic teams with international players in it!
make a specialist t20 team and azhar should be in it!
hope he has more success!

was never really impressed by his earlier performances for pakistan, always regarded him as a poor man's razzaq. however, t20 is a game of form, and nobody can deny that azhar has been in great form in recent times. he should be in the t20 team for sure.

i hate to be the douche here but mooda's time is done yaar.....remember when mushtaq ahmed used to be the scourge of county batsmen taking over 100 wickets, brought back for an international he totally flopped....there is a difference in stepping up to the international level and his fielding is just gonna bring our average down...

37 years old or 137 years, (yes he may not have much time and this could be the last few blazing flames) but for a T20 game I still would have taken him anyday over Imran Nazir, Hafeez, Sohail Tanvir, Sami, and even Afridi for the T20 championship.

age doesn't matter. it's t20 folks. all you need is a few good overs with the ball and a few with the bat. it's all about form. afridi won us that t20 world cup because he found form at the right time. whoever is in form should be playing t20 cricket, simple as that!

azhar mahmood ki same kahani with hasan raza..no international game pressure handle it. he has given chance alot in past but didn't get better result.

if we don't base selection on domestic performance, especially domestic performance against the best in the world in different parts of the world, what the eff do we actually base it on? Do we draw names out of a frickin hat? Absolutely ridiculous.

if inconsistency and failure to deliver on the big stage is any criteria, why the hell do imran nazir, kamran akmal, sohail tanvir, yasir arafat, and even umar gul keep finding a place in the side?
the same could have even been said about Hafeez until he was given a proper run... he had 18 average after 48 odd matches... Given a consistent run he started performing admirably, and now he'll soon be captaining all three sides...
Give mahmood some space and time, at least in t20s.
if he fails over 2-3 series, then you move on. Are either of Sohail Tanvir or Yasir Arafat any better? His only competition is abdul razzaq, whose career seems like it's over.

He is a fine player and a very experienced and level headed person. He has travelled all around the world and has become very mature in his thinking. He can still add a lot of value to our team and would be a very good calming influence in the dressing room.
Also he will provide support to Hafeez and will also be very handy to guide someone like Hammad in his development as I feel this is the time to revamp the T20 team and get it ready for the next world t20.
My team for next t20 match would be:
Nasir jamshed
Kamran Akmal
Azhar Mahmoud
Umar Akmal
M Hafeez (c)
Abdul Razzaq
Asad Shafiq
Hammad Azam
Umar Gul
Saeed Ajmal
Junaid Khan
Reserves: Raza hasan, Ahmed shahzad, Sohail tanvir, aizaz cheema
Playing 11 has 2 pacers, 3 medium pace all rounders, 2 spinners and batting till Gul at 9, what do you think people ??
