Pakistani players hypnotized to let of negative past
Pakistani players are learning art of hypnotism. This was revealed by their new psychologist Maqbool "Max" Babri, who also happens to be the hypnotist of repute. The players who often are in news for bad reasons than their performance on field of play, underwent several hypnotism sessions with him last week.
"I took them into a deep hypnotic trance, using a fractional relaxation technique, along with deep breathing and positive creative visualization", he said from Lahore. "Creating a sanctuary for them to recognize that they are the world's best at what they do and emerge out of this having faith in their abilities while strengthening their resolve to create new benchmarks for success and happiness for themselves and their families".
"As a hypnotist I helped them let go of any negative past experiences and utterances of parents, and other powerful people which were in a negative light. Forgive others and self and not carry any burdens from the past or fears about the future. To remain in here and now play each ball, over, inning and match as if this was the only match that there is. Doing whatever can be done in here and now.
"I am happy to report that each one of them went into a fabulous and deep hypnotic trance. They have now been programmed to bring the word cup home. They feel great their tensions, worries and even body stiffness is now gone. It is a happy and confident bunch of raw talent and they will create some great records and performances", the 58-year-old psychologist cum hypnotist concluded.
Over thirty years of professional experience of coaching and training with the corporate sector in Pakistan as well as in Middle East and Europe, Babri is a US qualified and certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with license to practice hypnotherapy in USA. Sadly his services have only been sought by the Pakistan Cricket Board for the training period at home. He will not be a part of the team in England for the Twenty20 World Cup.

nahi bahee .....a lot of ppl do this in US ....I used to do this to myself..when i used to play golf.. but i had to be in some kind of mild trance at that time....(but i never have got done a deep hyponotic trance on myself)....things like these work ..you never know...i have done it to my brother and changed his attiude , behaivior completely for one whole day(into a positive one), once.
Although now i believe these things to be conflicting with my religious beliefs so i dont do them anymore.

as much as im laughing rite now at this topic id like to say tht WE PAKISTANIs have this habit of comparing ourselves with other nations... Its not always tht AUS is God of cricket nd only they know how to do stuff right... we shud for once blive in wht we do ourselves nd not think about comparing with other nations...

No you didnt actually understand what i meant. Its like if good teams stated losing do they go for these tactics or do they have a review of what went wrong?
Our problem is the basic thats it..it has nothing to do with pyschology o something. im pretty sure our players r sane enough and they have a positive mindset. WHat gets them bad is their over confidence at times and meer stupidity.. hypnotizing wont be of ne use.
