1. its unprofessional because its a couple of nights before a game
2. i definitely think ahmed shehzad is underage....at least in terms of being in a club.
3. at least TRY to hold your liquor...or don't drink at all..dont make fools out of yourselves enough to get caught.
4. It is ramadan..some people might choose to respect some people might not, i am no one to judge that.
khair.....the focus of the disciplinary authorities should be on the professional indiscretion and not a value judgment of how 'immoral' the act is.

yaar maverick you are right about not judging them on Moral issues. However don't you think those kids are under-18 and somehow team management is liable for their morality as well. They are not even adults, hence, they need some legal supervision?

i should have elucidated on pt.2 that is where i was pointing out that at least ahmed shehzad is underage...i think he's 17 so its illegal for him to be there but i think anwar is 21 so they cannot really bring up the legal spiel here.

I dont really care them going out late.. but what bothers me more is that they had no respect for the month of Ramzan and were caught chasing tail, in Africa of all places. Doesnt say much about the Paindu Pakistani team. You have Akhtar doing dumb indian dance shows and you have Malik doing some indian movies.

PCB should impose tough action on these youngsters. If PCB couldn't imposed discipline on Akhtar, what would guarante PCB to impose the same on them. All this happening because of Akhtar, that has surely effecting on youngsters.
Thank for showing that path to youngsters now. Mr Akhtar
I don't think PCB will take action against them. If PCB do, the public will attack on PCB ,like did against PCB on earlier drug issues that forced PCB to reverse the original decision.

and given the young age of the fellows involved, you'd think their alcohol level intake of their body would be less tolerant than a more experienced drinker, and would also take longer to clear their system.
Normally I'll be fine with the 'its their personal life' statement, but in this scenario, there are a lot of other factors that come into play when you're on tour with a team and have a match in a couple of days..Reeks of unprofessionalism..

Agreed!

actually africa's pretty good for chasing 'tail'....kenya attracts a number of tourists....and it does say a lot about the lack of exposure our kids have...and the total lack of entertainment options that once they go out of the country, they fail to handle themselves.
