Right..lets put back the dissappointment of the SL series lose..and look ahead to Australia..
Considering there will be no tests, we need some attacking young players in batting..the first two names that come to my mind is Ahmed Shahzad and Nasir Jamshed.. however due to balance of the squad I cannot put them in my first eleven..
I see no point in having Misbah captaining in ODI's and Hafeez (who does not guarantee his own position) in T20's..lets keep things simple...one captain for both formats..so Misbah is my choice.

my team will be:

1. Kamran Akmal (i hate him but other options are not too good either)
2. Muhammad Hafeez (i hate him but we need a 6th bowler)
3. Azhar Ali (role of MoYo)
4. Asad Shafiq (role of Inzi)
5. Misbah ul Haq (role of solid tuk tuk)
6. Umar Akmal (bang bang)
7. Shahid Afridi (boom boom)
8. Yasir Arafat (decent All rounder)
9. Sohail Tanveer (decent All rounder)
10. Umar Gul
11. Saeed Ajmal

Reserves:
Shoaib Malik, Ahmed Shahzad, Junaid Khan, Nasir Jamshed

I also have an alternative line up..this team can include both Nasir and Shahzad..but then Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali will have to sit out..(may not be a good decision considering how solid these two have been off late)

8. Abdul Razzaq/Hammad Azam
9. Umar Gul

Reserves: Nasir Jamshed, Sohail Tanvir, Mohammed Sami, Raza Hasan, Haris Sohail.

This team has a mix of youth and experience. Some sensible Batman, some hard hitting Batman, good allrounders, good pacers, and a lot of spin bowling options. The only question is, who will captain the side? For which my favorite choice is Shahid Afridi, but I know they will not make him the captain, so i don't care.

For odi team, if Misbah and Younis decide to retire or are axed from the team then my team will be as following.

I think It's the best time to rely on the youngsters ( Shehzad, Jamshed, Ali, Shafiq) in the absence of the seniors because Australian team Is also not in the best of forms.
