well we'll first of all folks, lets stop the RAZZAq talk. he is too old for me. did not do much in Bangladesh and locally.

My issue is with team selection. why did we make haffez the T20 captain. what were his credentials. if you really wanted to make some one a captain then afridi should have been the automatic choice or in the case how bad can malik be...

then no JUNAID khan in T20 what what what. only in test. i am guessing Lanshaire county must be stupid to get his expertise in the T20 format. hold on did he got them to such good position last year. don;t understand tactics but then when do we Understand PCB tactics.


sometimes you think they should have just kept the team the way it was without making any changes. so i guess we should say GOOD Bye to this year WC.

Afaq and Dogar are on merit. They are #1 and #3 run getters in QeA Div 1 last season. They may be mediocre in limited opportunities they had, but they are on merit so they need to get more exposure. Whether this will be a BENCH WARMING tour for them it's still up in the air, but I hope they get chance particularly Afaq.

Faisal Iqbal is a pure Parchi selection, instead Fawwad Alam or Usman Salahuddin should have been selected.

Iqbal Qasim is a failed selector in the past, should've brought Salahuddin Sallu as the Chief Selector who made the T20 WC winning team.

Nope, Mohsin Khan's WC 2011 selection was very very questionable. His selection on WI tour was also questionable. Plus, he has a lethargic attitude, sitting at drawing room sofas and selecting team. he has no idea who the domestic players are. All good credit during his time was due to Saleem Jaffer and Azhar Khan who actually gauged the performances at domestic games.

Sallu bhai has a proven record. Whichever players he brought in, they right away performed.

Mohammed Hafeez:
I think this is the best decision taken by PCB to induce a fresh blood into captaining this sort of stable boat. Hafeez is reliable, professional, thoughtful, articulate, technically sound when it comes to captain. I would have liked him to rev up his batting average and play longer innings but then again his batting average should not be tied to his skipper skills.
Also timing is perfect to include him in this series before t20 worldcup later. Wins would certainly give him confidence to lead the side into worldcup.

Junaid Khan:
This is again easiest of the decision to include him only for tests. My guess is may be his fitness must have given PCB nightmares and they want him to regain his strength first. Secondly it's been couple of years since Junaid Khan came into limelight and so far we have not seen the results on the same scale as the hype he walks with. I know much of the reason is his fitness is keeping him away from international cricket but test arena is the best platform for him to prove his mettle as well as regain his fitness.

Finally,
Imran Farhat:
Ohhh this is straight out parcha party. Not even Captain Russell (Lagaan) would make such a dumb move.

honestly misbah does not hold a place in t20 team let alone be captain of it, a youngster should be given a chance instead of him, especially with t20 world cup coming, they have around 5 t20 matches to test few youngsters and make the right combination
