So here we are again!
Mera exam hai, please dua karrein!
InshAllah we will crack the series 3-0 against full strenght Lanka! And we should play new players.
If the series was 1-1 I would have replaced Razzak with Fawad & Gul with Najaf. But now as it is 2-0 and it is not so important series I want this isquad...

1. Salman Butt
2. Imran Nazir
3. Mohammad Hafeez
4. Fawad Alam
5. Shoaib Malik (can swap with Fawad if we are collapsing)
6. Shahid Afridi
7. Kamran Akmal
8. Abdur Rehman
9. Iftikhar Anjum
10. Mohammad Asif
11. Najaf Shah

A little to much experiment maybe. Also "resting" Hameed not dropping!

Match istarting normal time!

why would u still love to have hafezz in pak side. please forget this garbage player forever. this guy sucks. he showed us in the world cup.

Salam...long time no see

Well..this is my line up:

Salman Butt
Imran Nazir
Yasir Hameed
Fawad Alam
Shoaib Malik
Kamran Akmal
Shahid Afridi
Abdul Razzaq
Mohammad Sami
Najaf Shah
Mohammad Asif

I think it would be good to give people like Mohammad Yousuf a rest..I mean he has done his job in this series and the series is won. It's a good opportunity now to introduce Fawad Alam into the team.
Abdul Razzaq should be kept in the team because he was injured for a long time now and everything he needs now is match practice. It's perfect if its on International circuit of course.
Mohammad Sami is bowling really well this year...I think he should be kept in the team so that he can cement his place in the team. He has so much potential..really. And he is seeming to use it now better than one year before. He is on the right way and we shouldn't break his rhythm.
About Mohammad Asif you can discuss...He is coming back from injury so match practice would be good for him. Rao could take his place but I think if we want to get really much confidence from this series we need a whitewash. Therefore Asif should play..also because he is the vice captain of the team.(!) So, he has to prove still some things here and there.
Najaf Shah I think should be given a chance now as well. I mean he is a left arm bowler and who knows what he is capeable of. Umar Gul seems a bit overworked but we all now he is a very good bowler. He just needs to bowl as normal as ever and he will be back..he bowled well in the last match but in this match he got a little to expensive. Therefore we should give him a rest for the next match and try Najaf Shah. Overall...well done Pakistan! Great performance and good guiding by Malik and Afridi..I hope they continue like that.

r u okay??? why on earth wud anyone consider hafeez at this point of time??? i certainly dont see any need of dropping yasir especially over hafeez!!!! hafeez has been given a lot of chances and has proved very less!!! whereas yasir hasnt been used that many times lyk hafeez and still plays sensibly and contributes wid the bat!!!

and i think yousef shud be rested along wid gul for the next match... cuz we won this one, and won the series so i think it wudnt harm yousef to rest one match for this series... and we all know that he will remain a part of the team for the major upcoming series, but one match wont do harm.... so fawad and najaf shud be tried... i wudnt want to take razzaq out considering its a while since hes played again, but i wud say that gul shud be rested from the bowlers this time!

i just really liked out top order today, teh scorecard was like the aussies

if teh team contributes like this den were off to rebuilding very quickly

plus all teh bowler picked up wickets, gul was a bit unlucky but he came out rite getting the tail enders
sami i think bowled nicely, good economy, got some wickets
asif was a little high with teh economy today, but it was a high scoring match, and his reaction after bowling mahela is classical
afridi and malik, nicely done when the pressure was turning to pakistan

bring on the irish now :P
we should play some weakened teams and build some confidence, unlike that goof who just posted a thread sayin bring on teh aussies

I say build super flat tracks and play 15 ODI series against Ireland where we send Afridi & Nazir as openers in every game!
Asif & Akhtar as new ball openers!!!
