my ideal team would be below;

Hafeez (have to stick with him cz he does bring value through his bowling too)
Azhar (can't drop him after his form)
Akmal (thats right, promote him up the order)
Younis Khan (i was going to select hammad azam here but wait he is not in the squad)
Misbah
Afridi
Ahmed +
Sohail
Gul
Ajmal
Sami

in another scenario maybe we could rest Gul or Tanvir and play feeqa instead of yk even but the fact is that feeqa does not have the ability to get big scores either
man this sux we really need a quality batsman who can score runs at 100 sr and get runs regularly
sarfraz ahmed is fluffing chances now too maybe we need (can't believe i'm saying this) kami back, cz with him in at least the guy can bat a bit!
with sarfraz its double jeopardy! whats the point of playing someone ONLY on his keeping abilities and then he goes and drops dollys :@

actually i think dropping one seamer and introducing feeqa would be a better idea since our batting is shite

I am ready to take the beating on what i am abt to say but b4 u guys beat me up just take a deep breath and ask urselves there might be merit in what m saying.

Does ajmal have guaranted spot in ODI?

at the minute he is being used as a container, which is not his role he should be used as a wicket taker!
i think the issue here is with the captaincy and the coach for not pointing that out. to be honest i can't see what dav whatmore's influence on the team is. there is no change in our playing style whatsoever!

Ajmal is least of the concerns atm.

But then if the fools can drop Asad Shafiq, I won't be surprised a single bit at further stupidity. Sami was injured, but surely will be back in the next game.

we went with six bowlers till 46 overs they did the job, it was last 4 overs bowled by Gul and Ajmal where we lost the game. Doesn't help that both misbah and akmal were out (one 100% wrongly given and other i have my doubts) in succession otherwise were were set for chase.

yes we need him in every match, he is among the best spinners in the world today. and match winners need to be on the field of play, not sitting on the bench.
