Congratulations to Pakistan on a long over-due success.

Also credit to Sri Lanka who had a brilliant tournament. Sangakarra played a brilliant knock.

This Pakistan team with a great mixture of youth and experience as well as flair and spirit came back from the grave of cricket to win this tournament is a remarkable achievement.

Afridi played the game of his life and played like a true champion. He is a Pakistan legend forever.

So many bad and unjust things said about Pakistan in this country as well as the difficult times amid political trouble and violence in Pakistan - this victory/success is a just reward.
