The reason behind our team not being able to win matches batting second is not the lack of talent but inzis strategy in the middle of the second innings. What he does is after a good start by our fast bowlers brings on players like Afridi and Shoaib Malik who are good at getting through the over quickly but not ver effective when it comes to wicket taking. What this does is release the pressue off the opposition batsman and they end up forming a partnership which leads them to winning the game in the end with ease. With that being said, our bowling line up has conisderably improved with Umar gul improving in the last few matches and new players like Abdur Rehman taking wickets in the middle. I think now if we bat second we might win more matches than before. Comments?
Ps. I feel Umar gul should start working more on his ability to swing the old bowl (like Allan Donald for SA) because after inclusion of Asif And Akhtar he wont get many opportunities to bowl with the new ball.
