PTI has a separate 'Disaster Fund' account where donations can be made. I trust Imran Khan as well, and I highly doubt the idea that this money will be used elsewhere.
Didn't the money from "Pukar" ended up mostly for shaukat khanum? I thought this fundraiser was for floods, not for hospital?
There should be quick and prompt response from the entire world as conditions are getting more and more worst in flood effected area of Pakistan. The entire world should open the eyes and should seriously start working on things because diseases are spreading very quickly in those area's and Pakistani government is never in a position to help people of Pakistan.
America keeps and eye on every movement by any militant group around the world and take action against them by starting a war. So why not they haven't yet started to help Pakistan out from this natural disaster.
I would really like to help the flood victims in any way possible if not financially..

I know that one big criticism of our generation is that we love to talk, we love to act like heroes and spew out grand ideas on the internet, but we are too lazy and unmotivated to actually make a difference. This is why I would like to share with you my efforts to make a difference.
I am a medical student at the Pennsylvania State University. With the help of friends, I am organizing a funds, clothes, shoes, an canned goods donation campaign at our medical campus. We are planning a more immediate phase which will send whatever we collect over at the end of this month, as well as a more substantial, long-term project that will collect donations until the end of the year. I am traveling to Islamabad on August 30th, and at that time, I will hand-deliver the monetary donations we have received to the Pakistan Red Crescent Society. The clothes, shoes, and food we collect will be shipped to the same organization with the help of physicians from our community who have agreed to pay for shipping costs.
I am a Pakistani, and like so many of my countrymen, I am quick to critisie and slow to help. I feel like it is in our genes. But this is not a time for idle chatter. Too many lives are being devastated, and too many people don't care. I urge you to not be in this population and to make a difference. If you would like to contribute to my donation drive, please send me a PM and I can give you more information about ways you can help. I would be happy to include any money, clothes, shoes, or food that you would like to donate into our collection that will be shipped out. Alternatively, I encourage you to set up similar donation drives in your schools, mosques, libraries, and communities. However you wish to contribute, please do so. Pakistan needs us. All of us.
There are only 48 hours to go until Pakistan's 63rd birthday. As our founder Quaid-e-aazam once said, "With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve." I am confident that no matter how we choose to act now, together, we can make a difference and achieve something very meaningful. Let's make the Quaid proud, let's make Pakistan proud.
