There isn't an iota of difference in foreign policy no matter which party is in power.

Republican. I'm voting for Ron Paul. im gonna register pretty soon even though the california primaries are more than 6 months away. Even if he doesn't get the nomination, I'm still writing his name in.

Oh and Arun, I've changed the thread title, you're welcome

Yes he is. Fiscal and social conservatism are long held Republican values, Ron Paul adheres to both. It is a different matter, that these values are not accurately reflected by the party. But you're partially correct in the sense that he is libertarian, much like the state delegates that wrote the U.S. constitution

On another note, I get the feeling that most Americans (and most people in general) get libertarian philosophy mixed up with anarchism. I would even say that most people don't know the definition of anarchy.

he is an independent, he holds beliefs that are common to both parties. however, the republican party has moved so far to the right that people like ron paul seem weird because they are normal and intelligent. to be a republican in this day and age you have to advocate policies like building an electric fence between mexico and the US, or that the HPV vaccine causes mental retardation, or that obama is a secret muslim terrorist sent from kenya to destroy the US. the BS goes on and on and on and really makes the stuff that ron paul says sound weird because it's so normal and intelligent sounding.

Nonetheless, he's a Republican.

And you have made quite a resume of Republican voter with a lot of dirt thrown in it, I just wanna say that Democrats losing the House last year has more to do than just this. American Public in general is getting tired of fake promises since economy is as stagnant as it was in 2008. The bigger problem is economy and unemployment and not immigration or HPV. Ron Paul's talk is based around solving the bigger mess instead of fooling public into lesser important issues.

And I didn't even vote here and yet my vote is locked....Kya yahan bhi Pakistani tarah poll rigging hoti hai??
