Shujaat and Kiyani intervened to save Hamid Mir its old story.
i don't watch such programs every day but, but have seen a fair few. i watched both talats and mehrs programs posted above, watched talats first. but after watching mehrs her defense doesn't sound too ridiculous to me. seems plausible that she could be telling the truth. i don't really know who to believe, but i know that due to talats integrity hes probably the hit the nail on the head here. let's see what comes of it. luqman does seem really sketchy though.

Qadir Khan in movie Kala Bazaar said "ek emaandaar aadmi par ilzam ho koi bachane nahi aata, ek be_emaan ko pakroo to dekho phir kitne aate hain". Most respected journos and analysts after admitting Malik Riaz corruption still trying to soft pedal it, this much he has corrupted the society, even Saleem Safi, a most respected and high integrity person has a soft corner for Malik Riaz.

really makes musharrafs comments about media integrity stand out. he noticed way back then that the media was irresponsible and very partisan in pakistan, and a biased media cannot be an effective participant in true democracy. the role of the press is fundamentally important in shaping public perceptions, and the fact that ours is so corrupt helps continue the shambolic empire where PPP and PML reign supreme. its not much better in the US tbh with fox and msnbc being fully partisan in the way they cover the news, but in the US at least the biases are fully exposed. in pakistan, the media blatantly lies in order to device people and its all very sad. just goes to prove that pakistani institutions really are rotten to the core, and a powerful revolution is truly needed to purge this corruption from our society and to demand a better pakistan for everyone.

OH PHULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, mushy should talk abt democracy, pot meet kettle.

Biases are very clear in pak if one is watching, who doesn't know which way nazir naji leans or which way ansar abbasi. No one hiding it, when channel say they unbiased is same way Fox news says Fair and balance, its not pak specific its all over the world same story.

you can PHULLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ all you want but fact remains that musharraf is 10x the leader that nawaz sharrif and zardari could ever hope to be. regardless don't want to turn this into another discussion about musharrafs accomplishments, but it is definitely safe to say he was on to something when he targetted the media as being biased, corrupt, and ultimately dangerous.

Now this is the way to deal with list. Mazhar Abbas name was the only name i had suspicion abt, the one person who have immense respect and integrity (in the list).

yes so the media and politicians can hang him to cover up their own corruption and incompetence? no thank you. he doesn't need to say anything, his accomplishments speak for themselves for those objective enough to see them and judge him fairly. the rest can enjoy zardari and co ruling over them in the spirit of democracy
