WASHINGTON(APP): Hitting out at Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama for his rhetoric on pursuing terrorists on Pakistani territory, Republican candidate John McCain has instead urged strengthening the anti-terror partner and convincing the Pakistanis that the fight against terrorism is their fight too.


The seasoned senator also voiced support for the new Pakistani government as he emphasized Pakistan importance for a regional US strategy.
We must empower the new civilian government of Pakistan to defeat radicalism with greater support for development, health, and education.
Senator Obama has spoken in public about taking unilateral military action in Pakistan. In trying to sound tough, he made it harder for the people who support we most need to provide it, he stated during a campaign speech in New Mexico.
McCain also indicated his support for the new government policy to engage local tribesmen in isolating violent extremists.
A special focus of our regional strategy must be Pakistan. As you know the political situation in Pakistan is very unsettled. And terrorists today enjoy sanctuary. This must end.
We must strengthen local tribes in the border areas who are willing to fight the foreign terrorists there. That the same strategy that we use successfully in Anbar and elsewhere in Iraq. We must convince the Pakistanis that this is their war as much as it is ours.As commander in chief, McCain said, he would make sure that terror operatives have no place to hide. And I want to assure you, I want to assure you, you can have complete confidence that I will get Osama Bin Laden and bring him to justice. I will do that.

Answer - Get out of this region and let the people decide what they want. Stop wasting your money and resources against incompetent people who live in caves and are basically nomads. If your intention is to help these people then spend money on these people while you are not on their soil.

Its sad to see how these militants have gotten hold of several cities of NFWP. There are so much in number that it will take a lot of force and loss of lives to get rid of this menace. I really think ulemas and Islamic scholars should come out and condemn all these henious act done by these monsters and prove these wortheless individuals wrong by citing Quran and Haidth. The only danger is that they may be lose their lives in the process.

And about these people attacking west, i mean come on, do you truly believe this is possible? These people who cant speak any foreign language would easily get access to a western country and kill people? I personally dont think so. And if you are referring to the kids who are born and raised there, i have my doubts not only about any future attacks by them but also the attacks that the west make it seems like it was done by the Alqaida Kids. The fact is America and allies need to reconsider their policies towards not only Afghanistn but this whole region. America is great country and so are the people of America, how about if they stop degrading their humane and civil values and reconcile with the people who they cant defeat. It will be good for both sides. And once they are gone, they should keep supporting the people and spend on education, infrastructure and economy. It would be also very touchy to the people if they compensate the people of Afghanistan for the physical and psychological damage.
