LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party leader Yousuf Raza Gilani's son has won a parliamentary seat in Punjab province that was vacated by former prime minister after being disqualified by the Supreme Court last month.

Abdul Qadir Gilani won a by-poll in the family's traditional stronghold of Multan by bagging 64,628 votes, according to media reports.

Plus the opposing candidate was supported by PTI and PML-N both. Had anyone b/w Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan showed up at Bosan's campaign rally, who knows he could've won it.

But also remember that our nation has this perennial problem of short term memory lapse. There is every possibility that they will forget all Gilani's stupidity in 4 months time. After all he's a Gaddi Nasheen, his followers will vote for hm without thinking about anything else.

All true agree with u. I was trying to hold back cuz of ramadan but threads like this really pisses me off, like we got freedom thanks to ppl like buck fush, who should decide whether we deserved it or not.

na son ... I don't have to "decide", I am exercising my right to voice my opinion.
I am a firm believer that Quade-e-Azam and all others who extended sacrifice in the creation of Pakistan would have their heads bowed in shame were they alive today to see what have we done to this country.

Today's voting majority of Pakistan does not deserve freedom for their own good.

No, I don't decide. I have stated my opinion. I also believe that chances of Pakistani people deciding to get rid of Dynasty politics is less than 0.5%. Imran Khan cannot win majority. I so wish to be proven wrong.
As the scholar said, even a million Imran Khan's cannot fix Pakistan unless the people of Pakistan want to fix it.

My solution to Pakistan is this .. It should be divided into 3 pieces.
NWFP should be given to Afghanistan.
Baluchistan should be given to Iran.
Azad Kashmir, Punjab and Sindh should be given to India. Khallaaass !!

It's only for the betterment of people of Pakistan.
