lol give me a break. by refusing to condemn things around the world that should be condemned, you are in fact adopting the same "holier than thou" attitude that you are accusing others of having. and the sad part is that its not even true, you comment on affairs involving other countries ALLLL the time. so please give it a rest. it's not wrong to call a spade a spade. if israel does something wrong, it should be condemned. if india does something wrong, it should be condemned. if the US does something wrong, it should be condemend. and guess what, it is always condemned when these nations are involved, by you and by all pakistanis in general. but when it comes time to criticize other muslim nations and leaders, all of a sudden people are quiet. let's drop this charade and just start calling a spade a spade. like you, i also don't care whether asad is a good leader, whether qaddafi was a good leader, blah blah blah. but what he is doing to his own people is pathetic and wrong, and it is wrong for people to just read about whats happening and not give a crap. you'd give a crap if it was happening in palestine, and you ought to give a crap about what's happening in syria as well. the world we live in is much smaller now, and it's important to be a citizen of the world and take an interest in the world we live in.

Ok will bite, what is ur proof assad is doing wrong? If u gonna cite any western source or so called Syrian observatory or free syriam army i don't believe them as I already posted link showing who are these ppl. Once again I really dun give a damn abt assad but lets not call opposition angels. That is the point. My opposition to qaddafi happened not what went in libya right befor his death but his support for al-zulfiqar and as far as am concerned regarding qaddafi khas kam jahan pak.

short of going to syria myself, i have to believe what is on reputable news media. that eliminates all US media outlets as they have proven time and again that they are biased. but the bbc is always fair and balanced with its reporting of global issues. they have no reason to invent things. same news is being reported on al-jazeera, arab news, and the pakistani websites as well. you cannot massacre your own people and then expect the world to feel sorry for you. all these tyrants trying to cling onto power for their own gain just shows what happens when you give people ultimate freedom and squash civil discourse for ages. in these circumstances, this is the price ordinary people have to pay to get freedoms which we take for granted.

Oh the free syrian army the paragon of virtue and the angels
Rebels in Syria's Aleppo ready to fight... and die | Radio Netherlands Worldwide
Quote:
In the meantime, they occupy themselves with guerrilla-style attacks on police stations and offices of the "mukhabarat," or intelligence services, and with marking, as best they can, the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
On Wednesday, after the day's fast ended at sundown, they shared food with two young men, their eyes blindfolded and hands tied behind their backs.
A few hours later, the two men, accused of belonging to pro-government "shabiha" militia, were summarily dispatched in the street, each with a bullet to the head.
