I don't have any favourite party, but I hope whichever party wins, they will make Pakistan a better place, especially for the poor people. Also there will be some voting houses targeted on election day, so I am hoping that the death rate won't be that high.

In this thread ( http://pakstop.com/pmforums/showthread.php?t=67378) Kashmir is missing, I believe.
From this ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subdivisions_of_Pakistan) I can recognize some of the parts of Pakistan, but I don't see Kashmir in it.

Azad Kashmir has its own Constitution, legislative assembly, and separate elections and is not constitutionally part of Pakistan.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but:
Over 10,000 observers monitoring elections
ISLAMABAD: Over 10,000 Pakistani and foreign observers are monitoring general elections in Pakistan.
The election commission has issued 1050 accreditation cards to foreign observers and 4600 cards to the local observers. Foreign observers mostly came from United States, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Britain, Germany and France as well as from Japan, Bosnia, China, Nigeria, Belgium, India, Estonia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Moreover, observers have also arrived in Pakistan from Holland, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Hungary.
The foreign office has issued visas to 3000 foreign observers that will be lapsed on February 25. The election authorities have also issued observers’ cards to the diplomats of America, Britain, Canada and Japan.
Provincial election commissioners of Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Lahore and 125 District Returning Officers have also issued accreditation cards to over 4400 observers.
Mr. Grant, a representative of International Foundation For Electoral System, was also reached Islamabad. He would monitor 1600 complaints received to the election commission headquarters in Islamabad about irregularities.
Chairman, foreign committee, US Senate Joseph Biden, Senator John Kerry and Senator Chuck Hegel have also reached Islamabad and attended an election briefing along with the US ambassador.
The US team will visit the provinces to monitor the polling and counting process. The US team will release its report about the elections on Tuesday before returning back to home.

Let's see what report they give at the end. Hope the elections turn out free and fair as promised.

Some preliminary reports from the observers:
Quote:
PESHAWAR: Foreign observers, ambassadors and analysts visited several polling stations in Peshawar on Monday and expressed satisfaction over polling process.
Talking to Geo News, foreign observers expressed satisfaction over electoral process and said that Pakistan’s polling process is not much different from other countries. The difference is in political parties and polling symbols.
About some of polling stations, observers said that most of the voters preferred to stay at home due to security concerns.

Actually I was thinking about this too, that there is some seperation between Kashmir. But thanks for telling it.
And like I expected there are some casualties.

Women stopped from voting in tribal districts: officials
PESHAWAR ( 2008-02-18 11:26:50 ) :
Voting stopped at women-only polling stations in parts of northwest Pakistan on Monday after elders decided that women should not cast ballots, police and officials said.
Peshawar district mayor Ghulam Ali said voting had to be discontinued in Maryamzai, Budaber and other areas on the outskirts of Peshawar, which is close to the Afghan border where al Qaeda and Taliban militants are active.
Men and women vote at separate locations throughout Pakistan.
"I have reports that elders in the area decided that voting by women is against our culture," Ali said.
"This is their tradition. We can do nothing."
Chief election commissioner Qazi Farooq, in a televised speech on Sunday, warned that stern action would be taken if people tried to prevent women from casting their votes.
Pakistan has 81 million registered voters, about 36 million of whom are women.
The country's voters on Monday were casting their ballots in critical parliamentary elections overshadowed by violence and fears of rigging.
