Saudi beheads pakistani for drug smuggling
RIYADH: Saudi Arabia beheaded a Pakistani national on Wednesday in the holy city of Medina after convicting him of drug smuggling, the interior ministry said.
Bashir Khamis Ahmad was found guilty of trying to smuggle large quantities of heroin into the kingdom, the ministry said in a statement carried by the official SPA news agency.
The beheading brings to 60 the number of people executed in Saudi Arabia so far this year, according to an AFP tally based on official reports.
Amnesty International says 79 people were put to death in the Gulf kingdom last year.
Rape, murder, apostasy, armed robbery and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under its strict version of sharia, or Islamic law.

I am surprised sallu when the Shayukhs from the same country are advising muslims to remain calm and stay away from violent protests and not to damage property or human lives you are upset because a major drug dealor has been punished ?
Or are you really upset becuase the scholars of Middle-east have not given a fatwa of global jihad against the jews and christians for this stupid film ?
achaa kaam tou tum logg kabaahi reconise bhi nahi kartaay becuase your minds have been pre-conditioned for voilence

1. you can't give fatwa against jews and christians because it will be against the sunnah of prophet.
2. if they are advising calm why are they killing people in qatif?
3. Since Saudi Arabia is such a good friend/ally of US, i'm sure they can put extreme pressure to US.
4. I never said this guy shouldn't be punished, but they are busy beheading people.
p.s: governments have bigger think tank than you can ever imagine. When everyone thinking about lets do protest blah blah blah. and While army is helping the government in Islamabad. Do you think the other country's army is not doing anything about it. I am sure you have read the story of Uhud in details.

I am actually gonna support your argument here.
Regardless of the other activities or rules of the country, this is something I support. If someone is doing wrong, they should be punished. This is one of things that really makes a crimnal think twice before doing something wrong.
If someone does anything wrong, behead them. They deserve it!
PLus if you are gonna smuggle drugs into Madinah , which is a holy city, well then thats double shitty! and he deserved it!

you can't behead someone for that. If you are in the holy city, this is not how prophet treated others.
In that case, listening to music is haram. we will get behead for that ?

arabiannight975, Members on this forum don't realise one thing: no country in the entire globe is run by religious fugures. Everywhere is secularism: whether pakistan, USA or Saudi Arab. The Governments have devised secular laws and not based upon religion. Similarly these laws in Saudi Arab are very strict and unforgiving, what have they even got to do with islam ????
So why blame religious scholars for laws which were made by the fuedal minded people in the Government ??
These members, are going to blame zaradri and his government's corruption on the religious scholars of Pakistan ? Pretty stupid thinking....dont you think ?
Thats why they go out in the streets on the excuse of defending the Prophets honour but end up destroying public property, killing others and registering FIRs against anyone who does not want to particpate with looter mafia !

Medina was seat of Prophet PBUH govt and he issued lot on punishment in that city including Rijam (stonning to death), On conquest of Mecca Prophet PBUH issued a list commanding muslims to kill the ppl on the list even if they are found wrapped in covers of Khaana-e-kaaba.
Read the history of 3 jews tribes in Medina, read abt what prophet PBUH did to 360 plus idols in Kaaba.
