ISLAMABAD: Two militants, associated with the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), were arrested in an operation by security forces in Islamabad, DawnNews reported on Tuesday.

According to security sources the two suspects were planning an attack on the Islamabad airport and both had acquired a rented residence in the vicinity to survey the area.

Security sources added that the two men were arrested from a local hotel.

how come we keep arresting so many militants but we never actually get information out of them? friggin make some deals with them man to get them to tell us their leadership, tell us about where they are located, and what other attacks are planned, but most importantly, what factors made them join TTP. get some of these guys to double cross TTP and act as double agents. do something man! all i see is "militant arrested" which is still a commendable feat in and of itself. but seriously i want to see headlines saying "captured militant gives insight on ttp leadership" or "ttp militant switches sides and helps foil plot".
