Who were behind the Friday's violence
Path to perdition
From the Newspaper | Abbas Nasir | 16 hours ago
AS Friday’s protests condemning an anti-Islam film spread and gained in intensity in several cities and towns across the country, it became relevant to ask how far these demonstrations were spontaneous and whether or not at least some of them were partly ‘organised’.
A disgusting and hate-filled ‘trailer’ of an anti-Islam film, produced by a US-based Coptic Christian, had been posted on the Internet. A hateful and wicked agenda of fomenting interfaith discord had its effect as the film caused hurt and offence to Muslims around the world. They found it blasphemous and took to the streets in protest.
In Pakistan the hate film added another dimension to the justifiable and spontaneous rage. It took whatever initiative that remained in the hands of a dithering government and seemed to hand it over to street mobs. But the nature and ferocity of the violence seemed to hint that perhaps it would be an over-simplification to merely call all the protesters street mobs.
The narrative now seems firmly in the hands of militant religious entities such as Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) led by the firebrand orator Hafiz Saeed. One wishes the position of his backers wasn’t so ambiguous on the scale of this violent protest so as to trigger speculation.
The obnoxious film, and more significantly the underlying anti-Americanism, has also united, at least on the face of it, what were otherwise disparate Muslim sects/groups. One needn’t look further than the pro-Iran Shia Majlis-i-Wahdat-i-Muslimeen (MWM) and Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) and the JuD which aligns itself with the Saudi denomination of Islam.
Admittedly, the JuD abandoned taking its political cue from the Saudis after a falling-out with them over Osama bin Laden and the regime’s pro-American policies. Where Riyadh saw the Al Qaeda chief as a villain, JuD made no bones about awarding him a hero status.
One has often heard of the Saudi hand in fanning the obscurantist-militant version of Islam in Pakistan but as the US and its allies embarked on their policy of isolating Iran by trying to destabilise the brutal Syrian regime, there is a new vigour in the activities of some Shia parties too.
What hundreds and, some argue, thousands of Shia murders couldn’t achieve for years, the latest threat to Iran seems to have delivered: a newfound vigour and closing of ranks in parties such as MWM and the Shia ISO.
Dr Khalid Masud, the former chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, provided a very useful insight into our state of mind. He appeared in a TV programme to discuss the blasphemy laws in the wake of the travails of a young Christian girl accused of blasphemy. (This was a few weeks ago and definitely before the current outrage.)
Answering a question on why Pakistan perpetually appeared so combustible that it exploded at the hint of a spark, the esteemed Islamic scholar reminded us that Pakistan was carved out of India when a minority demanded a homeland from the majority.
After Independence, he said, “we retained that minority syndrome … a [persecution] complex has shaped our discourse and weighs heavily on our collective psyche. Therefore, every one of our issues is the world’s fault and there is always someone else to be viewed with suspicion, blamed”.
Zia pursued Islam for political motives and soon the state started to embrace its many manifestations. It didn’t matter if it was of a Saudi denomination and US-funded and thus foreign here. As it was aimed at the Soviets in Afghanistan, militancy became its integral part.
The ultimate irony underlined once again by Dr Masud was that those Islamists who opposed the creation of Pakistan ended up defining/dictating the debate on Islam in the country, while the government slowly but surely made itself irrelevant, leaving no room for reflection.
Another panellist on the same programme, Romana Bashir, who works for a Rawalpindi-based Christian research organisation, was equally lucid in saying that what were the (numerical) majority and minorities after Independence have now changed to superiority and inferiority.
She said she had interviewed many Muslim prayer leaders and ulema and some of them had conceded that unless their sermons are fiery and overtly critical of other faiths and systems their followers remain unfulfilled and complain.
Since they were talking mainly in the context of the blasphemy laws, the scholar and the researcher didn’t talk about how once the experiment of humbling the mighty Soviets in Afghanistan was successful, the country’s military leadership decided to replicate it in Kashmir as well.
Even when viewed against the backdrop of many decades of Indian intransigence on Kashmir, if this strategy was dangerous then, given its potential to trigger an outright war between the two countries, it has proved disastrous now that it endangers the existence of Pakistan as we know it.
Some commentators argue with a measure of justification when they say what Mr Jinnah said or visualised over 60 years ago is not relevant anymore. What is relevant now is where we find ourselves and if there is a way forward.
The foremost among the paradoxes Pakistan has come to represent must be the fact that those who rule the streets today have never scored at the ballot box. And this isn’t a reference to the genuine blasphemy protester with no political agenda.
Equally there can’t be any doubt that the whole society has moved rightwards; we’d be deluding ourselves if we deny that. Only the future is shrouded in doubt. Who knows where the path we are currently on leads to.

The Friday's violence has finally confirmed the illegitimate marriage of Iran-backed Majlis-e-wahadatul Muslimeen and Salafi/Saudi sponsored Jamat ud Dawa....
These are the players behind the destabilization and state of unrest in that country. Come out of impaired mindset and decide for yourself that who is standing as the real enemy of your country today.

here Maverick u can read urself: Police
Quote:
KARACHI: If you have been wondering why the law enforcers failed to control the violence that unfolded on Friday September 21, here’s the reason: a day before the protests broke out, the Karachi police had been ordered to surrender their assault weapons and were warned that if anyone dies, the policeman responsible will deal with the consequences himself.

Notice, me, only highlighting salafi in green and not saudi government !
This is what I have been talking about that you people with your jounalists like abbas nasir type people sprout fairy tales out of thin blue air.
Why can't your jounalists or you people bring forth any evidence against the Salafi Shayuks ?
Just making uo lies and that it gets printed in a famous news paper does not and never makes it a fact or truth. its called propapaganda.
Now if you have any evidence against the scholars of promoting voilence in pakistan during these anti-film protests then please bring them forth or stop spreading other peoples lies.
I have already posted out a lot of fatwas against doing protests and putting human lives and public or personal property in danger in your own thread called when they abuse our Prophet
The Salafi Scholars were and are clearly condemning those people invovled in protests. So why are you lying even when I pasted a lot evidence? !
Shaikh Fawzaan's Advice In Light of The Recent Film Degrading The Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) cannot by defended by oppression and misguidance, by Aboo Sufyaan (hafidhahullaah Ta'aala)
LINK for them:-
Shaikh Fawzaan's Advice In Light of The Recent Film Degrading The Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
The message in this above youtube video :-
Sheikh Saalih : "Our Advise that is to have comportment and not show disapproval in this manner; demonstrations or harming innocent people, and wasting wealth, this is not permissible.
Those who must respond to this are the scholars, not the common folk. The scholars respond to these affairs. They (i.e the kuffar) want to cause chaos amongst us and they wish to affect us; this is what they want. They want us to fight one another. the soldiers withhold while these poeple attack; and there occurs beating, killing and injury. This is what they want.
Calm down, calm down. Those who are responsible for responding are the people of knowledge and insight. Or they could choose not to respond to them and resolve not to respond. The pagans used to the Messenger a magician, a soothsayer, a liar etc. And Allah commanded him to have patience. They did not protestin Makkah nor did they destroyed any of the homes of the pagans nor did they kill anyone. Patience and comport until Allah the Glorified and High facilitates a way for the Muslims.
That which is obligatory is to have comportment; especially in these times and in these tribulations and within this evil which is going on within the lands of the Muslims. It's obligatory to have comportment and not rush into these affairs. "
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
So I ask you again why are lying ? Maybe abbas nasir has not ready the evidence so he gets the benefit of doubt when he says that the voilence of anti-film protests was influened by saudi islam. But youhave even read the evidence and you still lie ????

Since it seems that you do not want to click on the link I have been giving you hence I will now take screen shots of that webpage and post it here. So you cannot blame me for pointing your hatred and bais for the scholars of Islam ( and mind you !! , hatred for a government is completely different matter to hating the scholars! if you got confused ! )

Aamer it's not a lie, it's all facts. Propaganda is all what the religious banned outfits and their sympathizers are doing in Pakistan to fulfill their condemnable intentions in the name of this Prophet (PBUH) desecration issue. There are bad sheeps in every clan. I told you here before that there is a big difference between a scholar and a tullah Molvi. You can count on your finger tips how many true religious scholars are left in Pakistan whereas there are dime a dozen tullah molvi on every street corner and in fact in every house hold. They have to be called out for their hatred spread, because they are misinforming people in the name of ISLAM and Prophet (PBUH). And when they get financial and arm support from Saudia, it helps them to gain strength and spread their propaganda which in the end result in unrest in the society.
secondly, nobody is saying anything against Shayukhs. It's the extremists and there financial funding which is the point of concern for Pakistan. Unfortunately that funding is coming from the Salafis of Saudi origin (though not salafi religious scholars). JuD and it's financial assistance from Saudia is not a propaganda, it's all facts. Whether a Shia is killed or a sunni or an Ahmedi after all a Pakistani is getting murdered and that's happening on soil of Pakistan. Also that is done with the help of people who are controlling these militias from foreign lands. Saudia Arab is directly involved in spread of extremism in Pakistan. They are the one who provide unlimited financial and arm assistance to the banned militant outfits who are the sole reason of religious unrest in Pakistan. Iran is equally involved as well, because if Shias will get killed in Pakistan Iran will not stay quiet.
Compare the situation with how Saudi Govt. backed by Salafi influence force Pakistan to send undercover army in Bahrain to prevent the Shia uprising against regime. Again it has nothing to do with scholars, but there are people from Salafi clan who are involved in all this. Saudia Arab is acting just like a dirty thug in all this and the Saudi regime uses Pakistan's personnel, assets and soil for their dirty game.

I would like to point out your mistake in the above bolded red.
Those People who are funding the terroists or groups with khawarij beliefs and approach in Pakistan (osman bin ladin and ayman al zawari type of ideology) they are not salafis !
The Salafi Shahukhs cannot be more clear than that.
Now they may be using the name of salafi's but the scholars have spoken out against them and refuted them as well.
Now its a completelty different matter that the western Or Pakistani Journalist don't know about the fact whcih i just mentioned hence they are associating the al-qaida, muslim bortherhood or some foolish khawarij renegade people with salafiyaah....Just Becuase them extremist groups like to call themselves Salafis ????
The problem is that You throw every lie at salafis or the salafi Shaukhs BUT WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE TAKING THE TROUBLE TO DIG UP EVIDENCES ?

Again, the scholars are clealy sopeaking against those faction of population who are revoluting against their governments in these middle east countries. He couldn't name all of them but then writes " and other places in middle east ".
you say Saudi Govt. backed by Salafi influence force Pakistan to send undercover army in Bahrain
Where as I have posted so my evidences proving that salafi scholars are gainst this type idealogy. Becuase this behaviour is off the people of the khawarij (the extremists). And scholars are against any group whether they are JUD or any other based on khawarij mindset.
Now the Important Part - please read it :-
It doesn't mean that if Salafi Shahyuks of Madina University Or Makkah (haraam) are against extremism and revoluting against the rulers and creating fitna and fasaad in other countries that the Saudi Government is not invovled.
Just like Pakistani Scholars are free from the evils of Pakistani Governement since 1947 till now similarly Salafi Shahyuks of Makkah and Madina are also clean from the evils that Government of Saudia Arabai might be involved in.
Whether it is about spreading militancy in Pakistan or Bahrain or in Arab Springs through guns and money THE SALAFI SHAYUKS ARE NOT INVOLVED ARE CLEAN FROM THESE ACCUSTATIONS AND EVIL
I am all for blaming the saudi rulers but leave the scholars of Islam out of it.

You know I also once told you that the Salafi Shayuks refuted against Osama bin ladin in 1996. Hellooo !!! ? Ring a Ding Ding ?? 9/11 took place exactly 5 years afterwards
But the Scholars refutation was 5 years before 9/11 !
now this calls for this moment --->
Yeah right ! I bet the others didnt knew that....whoops wha did ya saay ?
So bad people exist everywhere....whether its TTP, extreme groups or voilent protestors in Pakistan or al-qaida in libya, eypyt or syria, or the khawarij muslims brotherhood.
So just because there may be some individuals in saudi arabia working in tandem withe saudi intelligence OR hell ya maybe even worling for saudi intelligence and supporting extremists gruops in pakistan DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY ARE SALAFIS ! that should be the first signal to you that they are khawarij since they are going against the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH and after posting so much evidence!. Unless you intentionally want to ignore the evidence I have pasted and name these extremist groups as salafis Bravo
