Surah 15 AL-HIJR – THE BEDROCK FOR COMMUNITY

Proclaim in the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1) Alif Laam Raa. These are arguments for the implementation of this constitution in form of Glorious Quran.

2) The time is coming when those who oppose this program will wish they submitted to it for their peace and security.

3) Leave these self centred leaders and supporters who partake in the world the way that makes them happy at the expense of each other deluded as they are by false goals because soon they will come to know and regret the ways they live their lives as they are gradually led to self destruction.

4) Never did We let any township destroy itself whose term of life was not determined by law of consequences for peoples’ own actions.

5) No people can bring their self destruction quicker or can delay it but as per set out universal laws.

6) They say, O you who claims that this program is revealed to him by Allah for implementation! You are talking nonsense

7) because in that case why have you not been sent with supporting soldiers like a king if you are really truthful in your claim that you are sent by Allah to establish His rule?

8) Let them know clearly that We do not send Our messengers with soldiers unless it serves Our purpose because had they come to them that way then they could not have time to consider the message.

9) Surely We have revealed this program for mankind to think it through thoroughly so that through implementation of this program We provide them with security.

10) That is the reason why We sent messengers before you among the earlier nations the way We have sent you for this people,

11) though there never came to them a messenger but their political and religious leadership mocked him just like these chiefs and their supporters mock you.

12) That is why We leave such people to themselves to keep on conspiring against Our guidance as their harmful and destructive mindsets and attitudes guide them therefore they continue in their crimes against humanity while spreading falsehood against Our program to create doubts in minds of their people so that they do not commit to working for peace and fight against Our messengers instead.

13) Behaviour of these chiefs and their supporters is likewise so they too do not commit to working for peace despite the examples of the people who destroyed themselves before them assuming their masses are under their full control so will not revolt against their tyranny and abuse.

14) For this very reason if We open a way for masses to explore the universe and they keep on ascending into space using that way,

15) still these people will say, our eyes are seeing things or rather we have been duped for such an experience cannot be real, it is impossible.

16) No matter how silly are remarks of these people the fact is We have brought about in space galaxies full of stars and beautifully arranged them for those who wish to observe them for their set out purpose.

17) That is why We guarded them against any wrong force that may misinterpret and misuse them,

18) so only such a person will observe them properly as is overwhelmed by piercing curiosity of existence, purpose and function.

19) Moreover We expanded the earth and brought about mountains therein and caused in it everything to grow,

20) and We provided therein means of sustenance for you and others for whom you are not responsible to care for them.

21) There is nothing which is not in Our storage in an unending quantity/amount but we bring forth only as much as is appropriate.

22) We give rise to the fertilizing winds and send down fresh water from the height for you the mankind to drink, it is not your chiefs and priests who own the store of this wealth.

23) That is how We bring nations to life through Our program and let them perish if they follow it not because to Us belongs ownership of all that exists.

24) Indeed We make obvious those who rush forth to take control of things from among you to exclude others and We also make obvious those from among you who end up losing as a result of this senseless rivalry.

25) Surely your Lord is going to bring them all together through His this program and that is how He makes known to mankind that He rules the universe through wisdom.

26) We surely brought about man ignorant about everything who needed to be cultivated into a civilised human being through Our program like a piece of clay that is like mud which is moulded into a desire shape.

27) As for the dominant harmful and destructive ruling and priestly elite we exposed it before the mankind spreading hatred among people.

28) Call to mind when your Lord sent message to the chiefs at the time by way of His messenger saying, I am going to cultivate a man through My program for him into a highly civilised human being like a piece of clay that is like mud which is moulded into a desired shape

29) and when I have completed My moulding of him into a shape I want for him thereby make him conscious of Me by way of My revelation then commit yourselves to support him as your chief.

30) That is why all the chiefs together committed themselves to supporting him

31) save Iblees who refused to join those who committed themselves for this purpose.

32) Allah asked, O Iblees! What is the matter with you that you did not join those who committed themselves for supporting Adam?

33) He replied, it is not fitting for a person of my status coming from elite class that I commit myself for supporting this man whom You have cultivated from among low status people like a piece of clay that is like mud which is moulded into a shape.

34) Allah replied to him through his messenger at the time, leave the title you were granted as a chief in this office because you are sacked

35) and you will remain excluded from My promised blissful life till the time you judge things according to My set out constitution.

36) At this Iblees requested, Lord! Give me time to reflect till the day the office holders take their offices as officials.

37) Allah said, you are given the respite

38) till the day of appointment of the officials.

39) Iblees said, Lord! Since You denied me my office because of this man, I will make my way of life attractive to him and his associates in the land and I will conspire to lead them out of their offices as well

40) save those of them who are sincerely devoted to Your program.

41) Allah said, see this program from Me is firmly founded upon proofs

42) so you have no power against my officials firmly based upon knowledge from Me but only those arrogant and ignorant will follow your way of life and become of the humiliated

43) and that is how they all will end up in painful suffering,

44) wherein lead many ways, each way of life is assigned to a separate community of people from among the mankind.

45) However those who will develop proper mindset and attitude and do as they are guided will end up in the middle of blissful kingdoms with fountains of knowledge from which will spring peace and prosperity

46) That is why they are told, enter in to these for your own peace and security.

47) We will remove all hatred from their minds against each other making them like brothers settled on seats of dignity due to supporting each other.

48) No fatigue should touch them in there due to working for each other and they should not do anything that kicks them out of that state of existence.

49) Thereby let My devotees make obvious for the mankind that I am indeed gracious and merciful

50) and that My set out consequences for actions of people are also humiliating and very painful.

51) Tell them about the missionaries that came to people of Abraham.

52) They entered upon them and said, we come to you for your peace and security. But he replied, surely we are anxious to know about your future plan.

53) They answered, worry not about it, we have come to you with a good news of a successor endowed with knowledge.

54) He said, are you giving me the good news of successor because I am getting old? What kind of good news is this that you are giving me?

55) They replied, the good news we are giving you is because of the continuation of the mission so that you do not become of those who despair.

56) He said, who will get bored with blissful program of his Lord other than the one who strays?

57) Then he asked, what is your current mission that you have been sent for, O people on a mission?

58) They replied, we have been sent by our prophet to deal with a people who commit crimes among themselves as well as against other people

59) with the exception of a party that supports Lot, we will certainly evacuate all of them

60) except his party of people that opposes him, which is going to stay with those chiefs and priests who will remain behind.

61) So when the missionaries came to the people of Lot,

62) he said, you people seem to be those who fight those who commit crimes?

63) They said, we have come to you with a solution regarding that whereby these people cause trouble.

64) We have been sent on a mission and we are to fulfil it.

65) You should therefore depart with your supporters during the last hours of the night and you yourself should follow them at their rear and let none of you look back to this place with any regrets instead keep going where you are told to go.

66) We informed him about this decree of Ours that the roots of those who remain behind are soon to be cut off through this new beginning.

67) Behold! The people of the township came rejoicing to Lot at the news of his visitors.

68) Lot said, they are my guests so do not humiliate me before them

69) instead be consistent with rule of Allah for the good of the community and do not put me to shame in front of my guests by doing things you usually do to each other and the travellers through our township.

70) They said, have we not stopped you from speaking on behalf of people in the rest of the world?

71) He said, here are my basis upon which I stand and invite you to abide by if you must do anything purposeful and worthwhile at all because living a life of crime inflicting harm on others is a waste of life.

72) Just like way of life of your people O messenger, they were driven to madness through rivalries for power and wealth!

73) So the mighty revolt in form of a sudden tumult overtook them by one morning

74) because We caught the place turned upside down due to their revolt against Our program as We made obvious to it importance of organised institutions and record keeping in a classified way.

75) Surely there are evidences in this for those who will care to investigate as to what happens to people who refuse to do things properly and why.

76) And as it happens this ruined township lies on the highway you travel.

77) Indeed there is a lesson in this for those who commit to working for peace.

78) The people who lived in the land full of trees and greenery to whom was sent Shuaib were also of those who inflicted harm and destruction upon each other

79) so We sent Our program to guide them but they ignored it. The ruined townships of both the nations lay by the road used most frequently by you the people.

80) The people who lived in land of rocky hills also denied the God given rights of provision to their people as told by their messengers.

81) because We furnished them with Our revelations but they too ignored them.

82) They used to carve their homes in the mountains for safety

83) but the mighty sudden uprising took them by surprise one morning so all their hard labour to build secure place for themselves avail them not at all.

84) We have not created all the far away galaxies and this galaxy and all that is between them but for a set purpose.

85) The moment of doom is for sure to strike those who abide not by Our program, so face their opposition in a courageous way that is dignified.

86) Surely your Lord makes obvious for mankind what dignified behaviour is.

87) That is why We have brought to your attention many evidences that back up The Quran that raises mankind to height of dignified existence.

88) So look not at the power and wealth which We have let some political and religious elite gather for themselves at the expense of human community as a favour from Us because they gathered it by declaring war against Our guidance, and furthermore grieve not at the suffering of those who continuously support the same system that hurts them and yet they ignore and oppose Our guidance. Let them remain caught in their self defeating delusions and instead pay much more attention to those who commit themselves to working for peace

89) and say to the opposing ruling and priestly elite and its following, I am surely sent by Allah as an open and clear warner to all the people.

90) This Quran is indeed the warning like of which We sent to those before you who also decided to remain in the opposite camps and the results of that were made obvious again and again

91) because they too were the ones who tore their constitutions into bits out of disrespect for rule of law and humanity and ended up in animosity whereby they inflicted terrible harm and destruction upon each other.

92) By the evidence of testimony of your Lord! We asked them to be united

93) for all they needed to do for their own good.

94) Therefore proclaim publicly what you are commanded and leave those who choose to abide by rules of other than Allah to their self created delusions.

95) Surely We Ourself will suffice you against the scoffers and the warmongers.

96) As to those who set up rulers other than Allah they will soon come to know the end result of that which they do.

97) We know your mind is distressed by what they say and do

98) therefore strive hard to establish the sovereignty of your Lord and be with those who commit themselves for this task

99) and that is how you should serve the mission of your Lord until there reaches you the news of accomplishment of the mission which is absolutely certain to happen.

Surah 16 AN-NAHL – The social structure and system

Proclaim in the name of Allah the Gracious, the Merciful.

1] That goal of peace is set by Allah for the benefit of mankind but you the people cannot hasten its accomplishment without support of each other. The sovereignty of the universe belongs to Him alone and His rule is far beyond the resistance of the rulers the ignorant people impose upon themselves.

2] He sends as the missionaries with the revelation of His program to any of the nations that needs it from among His servants so that they in turn alert the other nations that there is no ruler other than I so that they become consistent with My rule for the good of themselves as human community.

3] He alone has given rise to all the galaxies in the cosmos including this galaxy for the set purpose. As a sole ruler of this kingdom He is far beyond resistance of those whom ignorant people impose upon themselves as rulers.

4] He evolved man from a sperm and an ovum that come together and progress to a stage that he is able to clearly argue his standpoint.

5] And the cattle, he gave rise to them as well and for you in them are many benefits such as making things you wear or eat their meat and the like.

6] How pleasant they look and how happy they make you when you bring them home in the evening and drive them to pasture in the dusky morning.

7] They carry your heavy loads to far-off townships that you could not otherwise reach without painful toil, that is how your Lord takes care of you through His blissful program.

8] He likewise brought about horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and put on show and He is the evolver of things which are yet beyond your stage of knowledge.

9] That is how it is made obvious for you the proper way of life is that which leads to rule of Allah for the good of mankind and all other ways lead away from that way to harm and destruction of humanity. Had Allah planned other than freewill for you the mankind, He could have programmed you all to be united needing no revealed guidance.

10] It is He Who rains down water from the height so that you drink from it and with it He brings about greenery for pasturing of your cattle.

11] With it He also brings forth for you crops, olives, date-palms, grapes and every kind of fruit. Surely there is a proof in all this for those who observe these things with care.

12] He has subjected to your service the night and the day, the sun and the moon and likewise the stars also serve you due to His set out universal plan, surely therein are a variety of lessons for people who would learn to be sensible.

13] In the earth He has evolved things of different colours, surely there is a lesson in this for those who would observe and reflect.

14] It is He Who has subjected the sea to your service so that you may eat fresh meat therefrom and that you may bring out of it ornaments to wear. Moreover you see that ships plough their course through it. He has brought about all this so that you seek prosperity as per His program and thereby you become a human community that is worth the name.

15] He brought about highlands and lowlands on the earth so that you could live on the earth in case it does away with you and He also evolved rivers and roads, and so that you could find your way around He brought forth

16] landmarks and the stars for your guidance.

17] Is He Who has originated all this then like the one who cannot originate a thing, why don’t you reflect the implications of that for learn to understand things?

18] His provision is in such abundance that even if you decided to use all of the provisions of Allah, you will never be able to go through them all because Allah has secured all the needs and wants of mankind by way of His blissful program.

19] That is how Allah makes obvious your motives regarding each other regardless you expose them to each other yourselves or you try to hide them from each other by way of your own actions.

20] Those rulers other than Allah upon whom the ignorant ones rely have created nothing at all and even themselves have been propped up by their subjects.

21] They are themselves powerless having no control over their own lives, that is why they have no idea how the nations rise to power.

22] Be aware therefore that your ruler is only one and those who commit not to working for peace according to His set out end goal for mankind their minds refrain from learning about it out of their arrogance.

23] Allah surely makes obvious in time the truth behind whatever falsehood they promote as true and beneficial and whatever truth they try to cover up to inflict harm on mankind by the results of their own actions and that is because He does not approve those who try to influence mankind for the wrong reasons.

24] That is why if they are asked, what has been revealed by your Lord? They say, fictitious stories about the ancients.

25] It is for this reason they bear full responsibility for bringing about situations and circumstances whereby revolts in time becomes inevitable and that is why they bear responsibility for painful suffering and destruction of those whom they mislead due to their stupidity. Alas! How stressfully painful is the result of their such irresponsible behaviour.

26] Surely chiefs and priests of nations before them also conspired against Our program but Allah shook off their make belief based social systems, structures and practices to benefit themselves at the expense of their masses by the very foundation and the whole institution fell apart resulting in their own destruction crushing them under its own weight, that is how the results of their own actions came upon them from where they did not even suspect because they thought they had everything worked out and under control.

27] That is how on the day of uprising He leaves such people to face humiliation they bring upon themselves and people ask them, where are those rulers whom you assigned rulership in My kingdom instead of abiding by My rule concerning whom you used to wage wars on those whom we sent with Our guidance? Those who have been given the program as a mission say, today there is only gloom and doom for those who opposed Allah's guidance.

28] Those whom Our missionaries come to stop while they are inflicting harm and destruction upon their own people offer false justification to them saying, we are not doing anything wrong. They are replied, not at all rather Allah has made it obvious to us what you are doing even to your own people.

29) Now suffer the consequences by ending up in hell of your own making. In fact, terrible will be the state in which the influential people will find themselves in.

30] On the other hand when those who do what is proper are asked by others, what has been sent by your Lord? They say, that which is beneficial for us to better the world. Goodness is the result for actions of such people in this world and the state of existence yet to come will be even better. How splendid will be the state of existence of those who do what is proper.

31] Blissful kingdoms they will enter wherein will flow rivers of all things of their needs and desires. That is how Allah rewards such people as a result of their own actions,

32] Those whom Our missionaries come to rescue but find them doing good for their own people say, you have accomplished peace and security for yourselves therefore enter the blissful kingdom you have created for yourselves by your own hard work.

33) So are these opposers of Our program waiting for Our missionaries to come and rescue them from the situation they have got themselves into or are they waiting for the law of consequences as set by your Lord to come to pass? If they are waiting for consequences of their harmful and destructive actions against their own people then so did those who destroyed themselves before them. It was not Allah who inflicted them with injustice but that they themselves inflicted harm and destruction upon each other instead of living like good united human family.

34] That is how in the end the destructive results of their deeds overtook them by surprise and the very idea of uprising at which they mocked hemmed them in. That is how their environmental pot exploded when it reached beyond its boiling point.

35) Those who live by rules of others than Allah whom they impose upon themselves say, had Allah not destined us to abide by rule of any other than Him then neither we nor our forefathers would have done that nor we would have forbidden anything other than what he did. Such excuses were put forth also by those who perished before them. However responsibility upon Our messengers is only to convey Our message clearly.

36] No doubt We raised a messenger in every nation saying, serve the set out goal of Allah alone and let not the forces that lead away from His program take control of you. After making that clear Allah left people to guide themselves or be of those who face the results of their own harmful and destructive actions. So travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who denied each other their God given rights to provision thereby opposed Our program for them.

37] No matter how eager you may be for their guidance Allah does not guide those who choose to go their own way and that is why such people are beyond any help by anyone.

38] They swear by Allah their strongest oaths saying, Allah will never raise the down trodden people to dignified life? Nay, rather He will and it is a promise He has made binding upon Himself though most among the mankind do not learn His program to understand how He is going to do that.

39] He will fulfil His promise so that He demonstrates to them the truth of His program about which they dispute in order to make it obvious to the mankind that the opposers of His program are liars indeed.

40) As for raising down trodden to dignity, when We intend to do anything as per Our program, We need only initiate the process as Our expressed will and it comes about.

41] Therefore those who migrate mentally and physically for the program of Allah after suffering victimization at the hands of the rulers and the priests We will certainly bless them with a kingdom of their own so the reward to come could be much greater if they could realise it.

42] Such are the ones who face sensibly the ills inflicted upon them with steadfast courage and put their trust in the set out laws of their Lord working hard to change things for the better as per Our guidance.

43] Behold, We never sent any messengers to people before you but they were people full of courage whom We inspired with Our program. Ask those who strive hard to spread the message if you the people are not aware of it already.

44] We sent them with clear goals and guidelines as are in the Zaboor. Likewise We have sent to you the people this program so that you may explain it clearly to the rest of mankind as to what has been sent for them so that they may think it through thoroughly.

45] So do those who oppose Our program and conspire against it feel secure that Allah will not debase them as a result of their own harmful and destructive actions against each other or let them reach the painful suffering from the sources they do not even anticipate?

46] Or that He may catch them in some self created trouble in the course of their journey that leaves them no way for their escape?

47] Or that He may find them in trouble even after alerting them about the danger? By alerting you about all these dangers your Lord intends to benefit you by means of His blissful program for you.

48] Why don’t they observe things carefully which Allah has evolved as to how Allah secures them in their existence, purpose and function protecting them in every way against failure because they are subjected to laws set by of Allah which they follow faithfully.

49] That is how due to laws of Allah exists and functions all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth from the least significant of the creatures to the most significant of the creatures and they do not disregard His set out laws.

50] They follow the course of action their Lord has set upon them to govern their behaviour and that is how they fulfil what they are programmed to do.

51] That is why Allah has advised that you the mankind should not live by two different standards by two different rulers because the truth is He alone is the one who has the right to sovereignty in this kingdom. Therefore it is fulfilling of My program alone that you should be concerned about.

52] Behold, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth and to Him belongs the constitution for the benefit of the humanity that is lasting, will you then rather abide by rule of other than Allah?

53] Whatever blessings you enjoy are from Allah so when you are in trouble upon His laws you should rely for help to free yourselves.

54] Even though it is He alone who frees you from troubles yet no sooner you are relieved that some people from among you run to their self-imposed rulers instead of abiding by rule of their Lord

55] as if to show their contempt for the favours that We bestowed upon them. Please yourselves as you see fit but soon you will come to know the results of your make belief based actions against Our program.

56] They freely set aside a portion of what We have provided for them for their self imposed rulers and priests about whose tricks to rob them they know nothing. About the program of Allah! You the rulers and the priests will certainly be questioned as to lies you fabricate against it.

57] They will be questioned because they attribute the program of Allah with such baseless foundations of which His majesty is free because they go along with whatever comes to their minds.

58] It is because whenever the blissful program is announced to any of the nations’ ruling and priestly elite regarding the well being of the masses in the communities, the leadership becomes entangled in derailing its given sense of direction out of spite,

59] hiding its harmful and destructive motives from its people due to blissful program with which it is blessed, asking itself whether it should go along with it unwillingly or bury it in the dust. Beware! Destructive is the decision they make about the blissful program of Allah.

60] To those who do not commit to working for peace according to Our given guidelines for the better end goal applies the similitude of a people who harm and destroy themselves whereas example of people who follow blissful program of Allah is dignified because He is the ruler Who is full of wisdom.

61] If Allah were to let people with such harmful and destructive mindset and attitude face the results of their actions against His guidance instantly, He would not have left even a single one of them on the earth but He gave them respite for amending their ways within an appointed time period. So when their appointed time is over they can neither stay beyond that for a moment nor can they go a moment before it. When the pot of harm and destruction boils over it explodes taking away with it all those involved in it unless any repent and reform.

62] They attribute to Allah partners in His sovereignty by setting up themselves as rulers other than Him which they hate for themselves because they rather have all they can without sharing it with anyone that is how they attribute lies to themselves with their own tongues ensuring good thing in life for themselves. Let there be no doubt that by doing so the only thing they bring about for themselves is hell of hatred against themselves that consumes them before others.

63] By this testimony of Allah it is obvious that We sent messengers before you to other nations as well but their harmful and destructive leadership made their actions look good to them so they opposed Our program, such leadership is their role model even today so they are bound to end up in painful suffering.

64] We have not revealed this book to you but for the set purpose that you clearly explain to them everything over which they divide and go to wars. This book is a blissful program for the people who would commit to working for peace.

65] It is like the water that Allah sends down from the height whereby He gives life to the land after it has been dead likewise it brings about lively nations. Surely in this there is a lesson for those who would observe things to draw sense.

66] There is a lesson for you in cattle to think about. We give you to drink by means of processes that take place in their bodies between what they digest and the way it becomes blood and pure milk, pleasant for those who would drink it.

67] Likewise processes take place in the fruits of the date-palm and the grapes from which you derive drinks and wholesome food, certainly therein is a lesson to think about for those who would use their sense to learn and benefit.

68] The same is true in case of bees, your Lord programmed the bees to build their hives in elevated places, in the trees and in anything which people build for them.

69) Moreover partake of every kind of fruit and follow the smooth ways of your Lord. From the processes in its body comes forth a syrup of different colours that contains a healing property for mankind. Certainly in this there is a lesson for those who would think as to how it all exists, functions and fulfils its purpose.

70] Likewise Allah brings you about and thereafter He lets you fulfil your full potential and that is how He lets some of you the people live from birth till they grow old knowing nothing after having known much. That is why Allah makes known to you He has set up laws to govern all affairs.

71] That is because Allah gifts some of you more than others with abilities for production and distribution of things of need and desire for whole of the mankind. Yet some of those who have gathered more of the provision do not share it with those for whom they have been made responsible in case they become their equals in that respect. By doing so, are they not stifling progress and prosperity for mankind for which Allah bestowed His program?

72] That is the reason Allah raises supporters for you from your own kind and raises for you through your mates children and grandchildren whereby He provides you with provisions that are beneficial. Will they still continue working for rifts and wars between mankind on basis of their make beliefs thus keep the benefits of the blessing of Allah from reaching those having the rights from Allah to get them

73] and take on other rulers than Allah to serve them who have no power to provide them with anything for sustenance from the heavens and the earth nor can they ever have any power to do so?

74] Therefore invent not rivals of Allah. Allah makes all this obvious for you the mankind because otherwise you could not know.

75] Allah gives you an example of a person who is disabled (become old or sick etc) so he has no power to do anything for himself or others and a person whom We have given the ability to exploit beneficial provision from Us and he freely uses it to benefit personally as well as to benefit the community, should both of these be treated the same way or should the able one provide the needed care for the disabled? Remember, to decide such matters sovereignty only belongs to Allah alone yet most of them bother not to learn to understand things.

76] Allah gives you another example of two people, one of them is like a baby (or born disabled etc) and has no ability to do anything so he is a burden on his supporter and no matter what he cannot do anything to benefit himself. Should he be treated the same way as the one fully capable of looking after himself? This is why only such as command fair and compassionate treatment of each other are the one who are on the path that is proper and firmly fixed.

77] It is because Allah alone makes obvious what is to happen in the future in the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. If people refuse to live by rule of Allah then the occurrence of the moment of uprising will be automatic like the twinkling of an eye or things related to it because Allah has set up laws to govern affairs relating all things.

78] That is how Allah brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers knowing nothing but He gave you sense of hearing and sense of sight as well as intelligence so that you develop in to a human worth the name.

79] Do they not see the birds that wing their flight in the air towards the height, who holds them up but set laws of Allah by way of a set mechanism? Surely therein are lessons for people who would commit to working for peace.

80] So that Allah brings about for you through your set up institutions peaceful existence whereby He brings about for you bundles of blissful things for covering all your needs and wants so that you make period of your life journey easier through them for as long as you stay without diversion there from because without such cultivation life will be like a barren land so find ways to inherit things that make life worthwhile for a set period of time.

81] Allah has provided you with things for your safety and security out of what he has evolved. He has enabled you to make rooms for yourselves among influential people like you make resorts in the mountains and He has enabled you to make plans to cover yourselves from getting harmed just like you make garments to protect yourselves from temperature variations like you make coats of armour to protect yourselves during wars amongst yourselves. All because He wants to grant His blessings to you in full therefore you should become of those who commit to live in peace.

82] O messenger, if they still pay no due attention to your mission then grieve not because your duty is only to convey Our message clearly.

83] They should attain blessings of Allah in full by implementing His program but instead they are prevent this from happening because most of them oppose Our program for them.

84] Do they realize what will happen during the period of time when We will raise landslide support from every nation for Our program? Then the opposers of Our program the chiefs and the priests along with their supporters will not be able to put forward any proper justification for what they do nor will they be able to receive any personal favours in private from each other.

85] That is how at the time of uprising the undue exploiters of humanity will face the retribution by their victims, it will not be easy for them to go through with it nor will they be granted any delay or respite.

86] Moreover at the time when those who live by rule of other than that of Allah will see their self appointed rulers other than Allah they will say, our Lord! Here are the rulers we set up ourselves by whose laws we used to live our lives instead of Yours. At this their self appointed rulers will toss their statement back at them saying, you are liars!

87] They will openly submit to sovereignty of Allah that day because their self appointed rulers will leave them in utter chaos.

88] As for those who oppose and debar others from the roadmap of Allah, We will let them suffer the consequences of their action in form of suffering upon suffering till they give up their way of life or perish because they cause rifts and wars between mankind.

89] That is why in time We will raise landslide support for Our program against this harmful and destructive leadership of chiefs and priests from their own people everywhere and likewise We will raise you the people against your own community leadership because that is the reason We have sent for you the Quran to explain everything necessary in detail to all people as a guidance towards blissful program thereby a good news for those who would commit to this program that leads to peace.

90] Allah commands justice and compassion based fair dealing for all individuals and all nations with all the interdependent human community and He forbids all such ideas and actions by anyone against any other individual or community that bring gloom and doom on a person or a community, actions that cause harm and destruction to mankind out of lawless behaviour of people against each other. He admonishes you so that you may take heed and build the better world together like a good family.

91] Therefore fulfil the constitutional obligations of Allah as you have agreed to abide by them and breach not the agreements regarding each other after you have agreed to uphold them because you have put your trust in goals and guidelines of Allah and Allah makes results of all that you do evident for all to see.

92] Do not be like a gathering of people that talks people into forming a strong network of community but then lets it disintegrate itself into fragments through make beliefs thereby negligence of obligations towards each other. Therefore take not your mutual agreements as means for deceiving each other so that one party may take undue advantage of the other because Allah bids you to put effort in fulfilling your responsibility. Otherwise on the day of uprising He will certainly make evident the results of your actions in form of rifts and divisions.

93] Had it served plan of Allah He could have gathered all of you all into one nation but He lets stray whoever so chooses and He guides whoever make effort to attain it. However you will certainly be made to face the results of all that you do.

94] So never enter agreements to deceive each other so that you do not end up back into chaos after being firmly fixed on the foundation of Our program and taste the harm and destruction as a result of your actions for not doing what is good for mankind and debarring others from the program of Allah thereby ending up in hell of your own making.

95] Do not exchange the program of Allah that is good for the whole human community for your personal gains at the expense of rest of your humanity. Certainly result of your united actions based on program of Allah is much more beneficial than your personal gain for your individual selves if you could learn to understand this.

96] Whatever is your personal gain for yourself as an individual at the expense of the community will be lost but whatever you gain according to program of Allah for the good of the mankind will last. We will certainly reward those who are hard working and courageous according to the noblest of their deeds as per Our program.

97] Whoever does anything that is good for the mankind whether the leadership or the supporting masses provided the party is doing it out of commitment to peace We will surely grant such a people new life, a life that is worth living and that is how We will reward such people according to the best of their deeds.

98] Therefore when you read The Quran read it for seeking the life of peace and security for mankind through guidance of Allah in order to ensure protection for the masses against the conspiracies of the harmful and destructive leadership that tries to take away people from the path of Allah.

99] Surely the harmful and destructive leadership has no power over those who commit to working for peace because they put their trust in universal laws of their Lord.

100] It has power only over those who let it take over them and they are those who commit to live by rule of others than Allah.

101] That is why when We let a people free of its influence change one standard for living with a better standard that Allah makes obvious for mankind through that which He has revealed they say to them, you people are just lying. But the fact is most of them do not bother to learn to find out which standard is good or bad for them or why.

102] Say, this standard has been sent for freeing humanity from harm and destruction by your Lord as a set purpose to give solid foundation to those committed to working for peace through this guidance as well as a manifesto of prosperity for those who would commit themselves to working for peace in future.

103] We should also make obvious for people what the opponents say about Our program that it is a teaching by an ordinary human being. However the ordinary human being they attribute this to can never put together words in such a uniquely structured and uniquely distinct way whereas this message is in a language uniquely structured and uniquely distinct demonstrably beyond human creation.

104] Yet after having all this information those who still fail to commit to working for peace according to guidelines of Allah, He does not enforce His program upon them so they are left to their own choices to end up in painful suffering.

105] The fact is, those who do not commit to working for peace according to guidelines of Allah it is they who invent harmful and destructive ideologies, system, structures and practices because they are the ones who deny Our set out rights to others regarding Our provisions for them.

106] Because who can work against guidelines of Allah after really committing to working for peace unless one is forced the while his mind remains committed to working for peace? That is because any people who willingly open up to working against guidelines of Allah will move away from blissful program of Allah so they will end up in terrible suffering.

107] This is because such people love short term personal gains at the expense of long term gains for the human community therefore Allah guides not such people as work against His mission.

108] These are the ones whose faculties of thinking and whose abilities of heeding disciplines and whose capabilities of being able to see things for what they really are Allah finds untapped yet they themselves are neglectful of the consequences for their such behaviour.

109] There is no doubt that if they continue neglecting the use of their abilities this way then they will end up in an irreversible loss.

110] It is because your Lord only supports people who are constantly on the move ideologically or physically or both the ways after they go through hard work that is why they struggle through steadfastly and that is how your Lord thereby leads them to security by means of His program for blissful life for them.

111] During that period of time every person will only demand what one needs for oneself and everyone will be given the task whatever one can do and none of the people will be put through hardship of forced labour in vain.

112] Allah points out to you as an example a township which enjoyed peace and prosperity receiving its provisions in abundance from everywhere in every way yet in time it ended up neglecting its progress according to blissful program of Allah and as result Allah made its residents taste the consequences of their own doings and that is how they ended up in poverty and thereby insecurity.

113] A messenger was sent to them from among themselves but they denied him so they were found caught up in terrible painful suffering because they inflicting harm and destruction upon each other.

114] Therefore remember this and participate only in lawful things that Allah has provided you with for the good of the mankind, that is how by proper use of blissful program of Allah you should show each other that you have become a worthy people if you really claim to abide by rule of His Majesty.

115] ) He has surely strictly forbidden for you the followers of the Quran getting involved in things like ill-gotten gains/destruction, bloodshed, pig-philosophy, exploitation or greed based economy and all that is done outside the constitution of Allah. In case one is dragged into such a chaotic situation or circumstance whereby one is forced to get involved in such things but commits to getting out of this situation and means no harm to others nor rebellion against Our rule upon such people there is no blame because Allah is surely protector of mankind through His blissful program.

116] So you should never declare with your tongues falsely that this is lawful and that is unlawful in order to attribute false things to Allah because those who attribute falsehood to Allah will never prosper.

117] Short lived will be their joy because in time they will end up in painful suffering.

118] To the Jews We forbade things which We have already told you about and it were not We who imposed the nonsense hardships upon them but they imposed those hardships upon themselves out of their own make beliefs due to ignorance and arrogance.

119] That is because your Lord is surely with those who do anything wrong out of ignorance and then turn to His program after that and mend themselves in accordance to that, your Lord is there for them even after that in order to protect them through His blissful program.

120] Such a people were community of Abraham indeed, an upright nation because it was not of those like nations who abide by rule of any other than Allah.

121] It always used blissful program of Allah properly that is why He chose it as an example to point it out for others because He guided it to the path that is straight and firmly founded.

122 ] We gave it a good life in this world because till the end it remained of those who mend rifts and defects according to Our guidelines properly.

123] And now We have revealed to you the people Our will saying, follow the way of Abraham the upright one, he was not of those who live by rules of others than Allah.

124] As for staying put, it was ordained for those who differed about it. That is why your Lord decided the matter between them about which they fought over at the time of their uprising against each other.

125] Therefore invite people to the way of your Lord through rules of wisdom and advice that is beneficial for them, so reason with them in the most courteous manner because that is how your Lord will make obvious who has strayed from His program and so that He makes obvious who is abiding by His guidance.

126] That is how you should pursue people to win them over to your ideology as they pursue you to win you over to their ideology that is how you should show courage and wisdom and be top most of those with courage and wisdom.

127] So show courage because your confidence cannot be but due to wisdom of Allah, so worry not about them and distress not yourself due to their plots and tricks,

128] for Allah is with those who remain consistent with His program such as do good for humanity.

Surah 17 AL-ISRA–The journey from one way/system of life to another

Proclaim in the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful

1] Sovereign is He alone in this universe Who took on a journey His messenger during a period of darkness of ignorance in order to enlighten him about the nature of the forbidden institution that is harmful and destructive for mankind in order to bring about the institution that is sublime, in which We have placed prosperity for mankind so that We show him some of Our guidelines in action, surely His Lord is all hearing and all seeing.

2] For the same purpose We gave Moses the book and made it a guidance for the children of Israel saying, never adopt any other way of life for your security than the one recommended for you by Me.

3] You are descendents of those whom We brought onboard with Noah for establishing Our rule and he indeed proved himself a man worth the name.

4] Besides this We forewarned the children of Israel in the book that you will cause wars in the land twice by grossly rebelling against Our rule transgressing against humanity and suffer the consequences in time for that.

5] When the event for the first of the two warnings became fulfilled We let rise against you some of Our mighty warriors (The Assyrians) who rampaged through your institutions turning them upside down about which you were warned already.

6] Then after this We afforded you an opportunity to overcome their harm and destruction by helping you through prosperity based upon Our provided foundations and that is how We granted you more manpower.

7] So whatever you the people did as per Our program to benefit each other it was for your own benefit as a community but if you did any harm to each other, it only proved harmful and destructive for yourselves as a community. Likewise when you gave up abiding by Our rule the second time and Our second warning became fulfilled, We let rise another fighting force (Romans) to undermine your harmful and destructive ambitious goals and to penetrate your institution as the former had entered it before, and they utterly destroyed all that they laid their hands on.

8] Now your Lord can again grant you peace and prosperity through His blissful program for you through this messenger but if you repeat the same behaviour then We too will let the same consequences take place because We have set up the system that painful suffering will engulf such as do not abide by Our advice and become dignified people.

9] Surely this Quran guides mankind to the way of life which is firmly founded because it is a manifesto of progress and prosperity for those who will commit to working for peace according to it such as will act to remove rifts and divisions from between mankind that is why there is this great reward for them the life of peace and prosperity.

10] On the other hand it gives most severe warnings to those who do not commit to working for peace for the better end goal that they will end up in a terrible painful suffering the choice of which We have already allowed them to create for themselves.

11] So mankind should rely upon way of life whereby they benefit each other instead of relying upon a way of life whereby they end up inflicting harm and destruction upon each other out of rivalries. However mankind go for harming and destroying each other for quick personal gains at the expense of human brotherhood.

12] Just as We allowed mankind choice between brotherhood and animosity so We brought about the phenomena of the night (like darkness of ignorance or dark days of poverty) and the day (like light of knowledge or bright days of progress and prosperity) as two markers. By night We cover things under darkness and by day we bring things under light to be visible, so that you could seek your livelihood as provision by your Lord, and so that you could compute the years and estimate times for your other activities. That is how We explained all essential things in all necessary detail.

13] That is how We have linked the destiny of whole of mankind to its own effort, so if mankind fail to abide by Our program then on the day of uprising We bring out for it result of its actions open for all to see,

14] So take a good look at results your actions. Today you are sufficient to take yourself to task for what you did given the freedom, guidance and the provisions.

15] So only a nations that seeks guidance is guided for its own benefit but any that ignores guidance therefore strays does so to its own loss. No accountable nation is held liable for responsibility of another and We never let any nation suffer pain till We have sent forth a messenger to them and they ignore him that end up in painful suffering.

16] Whenever We intend to leave a township to destroy itself it is only because We send Our guidance to its rulers and priests who are living easy lives at the expense of their masses so they demonstrate their inconsistency with Our guidance and as a result Our warning fulfils for them that is how We let that township fall to the ground by way of revolts by its suffering masses.

17] Behold! How many generations have We let destroy themselves this way since the time of Noah? Sufficiently efficient is universal law of your Lord in showing results of actions of His subjects to them demonstrating His ability to see and deal with all affairs.

18] He who works for quick personal gain at the expense of his human community We readily grant him such things as We please to whoever works for that and We leave him on the road to state of painful suffering wherein he remains disgraced and rejected by rest of his community.

19] He who works for long term gain for better end of his community, the endeavour of every such person leads to dignified community life because it is such people who in actual fact work for peace among mankind.

20] Thus We bestow on all fruits of their actions – those who do not follow Our program as well as those who do- out of the provision of your Lord as bounties of your Lord are not confined to any person or nation but are there for all to benefit from.

21] See how We let some communities rise above others in this life due to what people themselves do, certainly the division to come are going to be yet greater.

22] So take no other ruler than Allah lest you the mankind become isolated from each other and stuck in poverty and trapped in this situation for good.

23] This is why your Lord has decreed that you should not live by rule of any other than Allah and you should be so kind to your parents that if one or both of them live to their old age in your lifetime then you should not say to them any word of contempt nor rebuke them and you should address them affectionately.

24] You should lower your wings to them out of compassion and thus express through your actions the advice of your Lord for them as well as rely upon laws reminding yourself that that is how they fulfilled their responsibilities to me when I was a little child.

25] Your Lord makes known to others your motives in your minds through your actions. So if you act to remove rifts between people for reconciliation between them for fostering good relationship then surely He brings it about again and again because He alone is protector of mankind through His program.

26] Therefore carry out your responsibilities towards each other faithfully by fulfilling the rights of each other as a settled community and as a people on a journey towards settlement and do not take away rights of each other through transgression as you will end up destroyed.

27] Surely those who transgress limits set by Allah they are supporters of the leadership that is harmful and destructive for the community life and surely the harmful and destructive leadership has always opposed the program of your Lord.

28] But even if you the supporters of the program have to move away from such people as are harmful and destructive for community life to establish the program of your Lord as you are directed for it yet explain to them the program the way it sinks in their minds.

29] In any case you should neither cut off your ties with your opponents nor become so accommodating that you end up blameworthy and totally trapped in their way of life.

30] Surely your Lord gives prosperity in abundance to a people who work according to His program and He limits it for those who do not work for it according to His program and He is fully aware of His subjects about their motives and actions.

31] So you have no reason to kill your children for fear of poverty because it is We who have provide sustenance with Our program for them as well as for you. Surely killing them for this reason is indication of seriously wrong set up and direction of a society against the guidance of Allah.

32] That is why you the mankind should never distort Our program through adulteration with other ways of life that are harmful and destructive because that is worst way to live by.

33] Moreover you should never take a life because taking of it is strictly forbidden by Allah unless it is taken for ensuring peace and justice in the community. If any life is taken unjustly then We grant the right of fair retribution to its community so let not the community fail in carrying out the justice properly in case of murder. The human community will surely find this law helpful.

34] Furthermore you the community should never handle the affairs regarding individuals but for bringing about betterment of the individuals so that the community as a whole could grow strong reach maturity. Therefore always fulfil your agreements between you the community members because otherwise questions will arise about purpose of agreements and community and so you the community will end up disintegrated.

35] So follow the set up measures faithfully when you have to judge things by Our standard that is firmly balanced. This is the best way to live by and it will prove to be the best to the end.

36] Moreover you should never support anything about which you have no firm knowledge rather ability of hearing and capacity of understanding as well as faculty of thinking all of these should be put under use for their set purpose before you decide to back up anything.

37] You should never think of ruling the earth through arrogance because you can neither rent the earth asunder nor can you be as big as the mountains. So manage it sensibly for the good of humanity.

38] All of the stated prohibitions are unlawful for you because they are seriously harmful and destructive for you the mankind and are hateful in the sight of your Lord.

39] This is but a part of the wisdom which your Lord has revealed to you. So take not any rulers other than Allah lest you end up in hell of your own making, full of accusations against each other and rejected by each other stuck in the rut.

40] Say, think about it that could your Lord base you the mankind on the solid principles the while He Himself took for His mission the missionaries who were weaklings? Indeed you are expressing a huge error in your judgement by not supporting His program.

41] They do this despite the fact that We explained things in various ways in this Quran so that they could use the guidance and correct their errors thereby have a great life the while it lasts yet it has only added to their aversion.

42] Say, think about it that if there were other rulers in this universe than Allah as they claim, they would have certainly tried to find a way to dethrone the Ruler of this universe.

43] Sovereignty belongs to Him alone and He is free of things they attribute to Him.

44] Strive very hard for fulfilment of His program all the numerous far away galaxies as well as this galaxy and whatever is between them. There is not a single thing but reflects His glory its own way though you are not even bothered to understand the ways they manifest His sovereignty but He has surely been persistent protector of humanity.

45] Yet when you proclaim the Quran among the people, We let remain between you and the chiefs and priests and their blind supporters who do not commit to working for peace for the better end of the human community a barrier they put up due to their arrogance and ignorance.

46] That is how We let this barrier be an obstacle for their minds so they fail to understand the message properly because in their hearing of the message is a defect to begin with, so when you refer to your Lord through the Quran about His program for Oneness of the human community under His rule they turn their backs in disgust.

47] We make evident to you why the chiefs and the priests and their supporters come to listen to you reciting the Quran when they come to listen to you as well as We let you know what they say when they converse with each other in private after hearing the message you convey to them. These opposers of Our program say to one another, surely you are listening to a man who is plotting conspiracy against us.

48] See what sort of deduction they conjure up from the message you tell them? They surely distort the purpose of the message as they have not bothered to listen the message properly to find out the proper way to live their lives.

49] This is why some of them say, as a people we have become totally disintegrated and decomposed by internal warfare can we really then become a community worth the name again?

50] Tell them, yes you people can be transformed into a human community worth the name even if you have become many groups or have no solid criterion as a foundation

51] or constructive mannerism regarding which there is gross lack of sense in your minds. They further say, who is there to restore us to dignified life? Say, The One Who raised you the mankind to dignity originally the first time. Yet they turn their heads towards you and ask, if what you tell us is really going to happen then tell us when will this happen? Say, it can happen quite soon but only if you work very hard towards it.

52] It can happen the day you are called upon to install the constitution of Allah in the land for the good of mankind and you respond by establishing His sovereignty in the land and that is how you will come to realise you have been living but very limited lives.

53] Moreover tell supporters of My program that they should say to each other what is constructive and beneficial. Surely the harmful and destructive leadership that is opponent of My mission always looks for chances to stirs up trouble among them. The fact is, the leadership that opposes My mission is self evidently enemy of mankind.

54] Your Lord makes it known to you the messenger out of His concern for you the people so that if any of you wish you could follow His program and end up in blissful life or if any of you choose then stay away from His program and end up in hell of your own making. We have not sent you to be their keeper.

55] Your Lord is fully aware of all those who occupy high positions of power as well as those down trodden. This is why We have raised some of the prophets with more rights and responsibilities than the others therefore We gave David the Zaboor to deal with chiefs and priests and their supporters within his appointed jurisdiction.

56] Say, rely upon rule of those whom you assume to be the sovereigns other than Allah but the truth is they have no power to remove your troubles nor even the sense to comprehend them and change things for the better for you.

57] Those upon whom the masses rely for removal of their problems as sovereigns themselves seek the ways and means from their Lord as to which of them can lead them according to His program to blissful life because they fear that if they fail to follow His program they themselves will end up in hell of their own creating. Surely the painful suffering your Lord warned you against is something to take serious notice of.

58] There is not a township wherein chiefs and priests work against Our guidance but We let it destroy itself completely by making it face the uprising by its masses or let it suffer the terrible agony it brings upon itself as a result of its own actions, that has been made clear in all Our scriptures.

59] Yet nothing stopped us from sending our revelations for guidance of mankind, not even the opposing mindset and attitude of past generations who denied them. We sent the law to the people of Thamud to open their eyes as to how they should live but they worked against it. We send the revelations only so that people pay attention to them and learn to abide by them in order to save themselves from their self created troubles and to lead them to peace and prosperity.

60] Remember, We told you that program of your Lord caters for needs of mankind comprehensively so there is no escape for them from the plan of Allah for them. We made Our vision clear in the Quran about the great future of mankind which We shared with you just as a goal for mankind to struggle towards by putting up struggle against harmful and destructive forces and elements. We draw their attention to Our this plan but it only increases their opposition to it due to their own arrogance by their lack of interest in learning.

61] Recall the occasion when We said to the chiefs of people in the land at the time, support Adam as the chief administrator in the land appointed by Allah. They all submitted except Iblees, who replied, should I support the one whom You have brought forth from lowly down trodden classes?

62] Then he asked, is this the one whom You have honoured instead of me when he does not really deserve it because I am better than him? If you give me time just till the day they take over their office, I will certainly show you some of them are not worthy of the offices you put them in by uprooting all of his official colleagues save a minority.

63] Allah said, you carry on going your way, in time you and any who follow your way all of you are bound to face results of your own actions in form of painful suffering, a fitting reward for terrible actions.

64] So lead to harm and destruction whoever you can with your speech and muster against them all your cavalry and infantry thereby take away their rights to their things and even their children and promise them whatever you wish. However the harmful and destructive leadership can promise nothing other than false sense of security.

65] Therefore as for My people who support My program, you cannot make fool of them because they know you have no solid foundation to stand upon. That is because your Lord has set laws to govern all affairs.

66] It is your Lord O mankind Who has set laws to drive your ships across the ocean so that you could seek His bounty thereby, He is ever there to lead you to peace and prosperity by His program for you.

67] Even when any adversity strikes you at sea all those upon whom you rely let you down save Him, yet when He brings you safely to the land you turn your backs on His program for you. Surely man is ever neglectful of His advice therefore he get in to all sorts of troubles.

68] Are you confident that due to your ignoring of His program He will not let the land from underneath your feet be taken over by those who deserve land better than you to have it, or let a tyrant take over you due to that? Then you will not find anyone to protect you.

69] Or, are you confident that when again you go back to sea He will not let you be smitten with a violent tempest and be drowned due to your unworthy mindset and attitude? If that happens then you will not find any who can really blame Us regarding this end of yours.

70] It is We who dignified children of Adam by blessing them with conveyances on the land and in the sea and provided them with beneficial things and gave them right of proper use over many of Our creatures.

71] The time is coming when We will call upon every community along with their respective leadership and each of the nations will be given its copy of Our constitution so that it stays on the right side of Our given law. That is how they should follow Our given constitution so that they are not faced with terrible consequences even to a least degree.

72] But those who will play blind with Our constitution and remain neglectful to the end will lose the proper way to live ending up in painful suffering.

73] It is such people who try to entice you to lead you away from that which We reveal to you, hoping that you fabricate something in Our name. Had you done that, they would have made you their very close friend.

74] Had We not firmly placed you upon solid foundation then you might have inclined to make some compromise with them.

75] In such a case We would have left you to suffer double the suffering in this life by losing what you have and not gaining what you went for and in the life in hereafter as well. Then you would have found no supporter to help you against Us.

76] That is how they tried their utmost to drive you out of this ideological basis as well as physically out of this land to expel you from it for good. Had they succeeded in doing so then they themselves could not have survived as a people much longer after you due to the situation they had created for themselves because of their harmful and destructive actions against each other due to their harmful and destructive mindsets and attitudes against each other.

77] This has been always Our course of action as a rule with regards to people of those messengers whom We sent before you and you will find no change in Our rule that We let people destroy each other out of rivalries and animosities if they refuse to live by Our advice as a brotherhood of mankind.

78] Therefore strive very hard from the sunrise till the evening to install Our system and thus bring about Quran based new era. Surely Quran based new era will come about soon for all to see.

79] For making that to happen it is important that you work extra during the night to plan things for executing them during the day. That is how your Lord will raise you the people to a status that is truly dignified or glorious.

80] Therefore say, my Lord let me commence the struggle for installing the system that is truly beneficial for the mankind and thereby get me out of the system that is in actual fact harmful and destructive for humanity towards the system that is in actual fact beneficial for the mankind and thereby grant me from Yourself irrefutable proof that supports my claim to Your messengership.

81] Thus let mankind know that the truth has come and the falsehood has vanished because falsehood by its very nature is bound to perish.

82] That is because We have sent the Quran which is a repair manual for humanity to rescue it from damage it has caused to itself, a program for prosperity for those who will commit to working for peace, yet nothing will increase for those who will work against this program but loss after loss.

83] Mankind is strange in its behaviour that when We bestow Our favours upon man in form of provisions and guidance, he avoids it and does as he pleases but when it results in harming him, he gives himself up to despair instead of trying Our advice.

84] Say, every individual and every nation acts according to its disposition not thinking beyond itself outside its own environment despite your Lord making people aware through His revelations and results of their own actions as to who is acting properly and is on the guided path and who is acting otherwise.

85] They question you about the purpose of revelation. Tell them, the revelation is a program of my Lord for your guidance and that is because you have been given only a limited knowledge when you are born therefore it helps you see the full picture and where you fit in it.

86] Had we so planned We could have kept away from you the people that which We have revealed for your guidance then you could not find any to convince Us for sending you Our guidance.

87] But your Lord instead decided to bless you with this wisdom of your Lord, surely His grant of guidance is of a huge value for you.

88] Say, even if all those who oppose Our guidance and their leaders combined their resources to produce the like of this Quran, they would never be able to compose the like thereof even if they backed up each other as best as they could.

89] In this Quran We have used every kind of method necessary to make the people understand the message yet majority of them persist in opposing it and denying its benefits to themselves and others

90] and say, we will not accept this message of yours O Muhammad unless you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us,

91] or unless you produce a garden for yourself of date-palms and grapes and you cause rivers to flow in it,

92] or unless you cause some divine destruction to befall us in bits about which you warn us or you enforce the rule of Allah with help of divine missionaries before our very eyes,

93] or produce a house made with gold for yourself or you ascend in to the heaven– but we will not accept your this ascendance in to heaven unless you bring down to us a book that we can read. Say to them, sovereignty only belongs to my Lord so its His program that should know instead of making your own senseless demands for miracles. Have I ever claimed to you the people to be anything more than a human being assigned messenger-ship by Allah?

94] And what silliest excuse prevented ignorant masses from accepting Our program when it came to them other than their objection, why Allah has sent an ordinary human being like ourselves as His messenger?

95] Say, had there been living in the earth the creatures like the ones you imagine for divine messengership then We would have sent them a creature of their own kind as their heavenly Messenger.

96] Say, sufficient is testimony of Allah as a proof to decide the matter between me and you. Surely He hears and sees all that His subjects need.

97] That is why whoever learns enough to see the need for guidance of Allah he is guided by Him and any who goes the other way he will never find any supporter other than Him. This is why We gather such people together on the day of uprising against their ways of life, which they follow like blind, dumb and deaf that lead them to hell of their own making. We let them increase the fierceness of their fire of hatred between themselves till they have had enough therefore repent and reform or perish.

98] Thus We let people face the results of their own actions because they reject and oppose Our program that calls them to blissful life therefore in despair some ask themselves, when we have disintegrated and have become decomposed as community, could we be revived to blissful life of dignity again as a new human community?

99] Do they not see that Allah is so wise and powerful that He alone has evolved all the heavenly bodies including this earth so He has power and wisdom to evolves towards betterment even likes of them because He has set up a period of time for them in which there is no doubt they will be raised to dignity even though the arrogant and the ignorant among them carry on nothing but transgression against each other?

100] Say, even if you had all the treasures of my Lord at your disposal you will still hold them back from using them for the benefit of the mankind fearing their reduction due to your harmful and destructive mindset and attitude towards each other. Man is ever so stingy so he must change his mindset and attitude!

101] That is the reason We gave Moses nine distinct Surahs=lectures as lessons for his people when he came to them, ask the children of Israel. And Pharaoh said, O Moses! I think you are taken over by some clever plan against us.

102] Moses replied, I think you can know the truth very clearly if you want that no one except the Lord of the heavens and the earth has sent down these revelations as eye-openers and O Pharaoh, I think that if you fail to give the due attention to these revelations then you are doomed for destruction the way you people are carrying on.

103] However Pharaoh decided to drive Moses and his people out from their stance and place so We let him destroy himself and all who were with him by hands of each other as is Our set rule for all the nations.

104] That is how thereafter We made it possible for the ideological and biological children of Israel to settle down back in the same land and that is how in time there came the time for fulfilment of Our another promise to you the people for which We gathered you together among communities.

105] So to fulfil that promise We have revealed this Quran and that is the purpose it came for. So O messenger, We have not sent you but to deliver the promised blissful program and the warning that failing to follow it will result in serious consequences for the mankind.

106] For that reason We have divided the Quran into sections so that you O messenger deliver the program to the mankind in steps and that is why We reveal it through you to them in stages.

107] Say O mankind, it is up to you to commit to working for peace according to it or not to commit to working for peace. Indeed those who were bestowed with similar revealed knowledge before it when it is proclaimed before them they are overwhelmed by it therefore they accept it true

108] and that is why they declare, sovereignty surely belongs to our Lord alone! The promise of Our Lord has been fulfilled indeed.

109] They are influenced so much that they are overcome by its awesome information therefore tears run down their eyes due to increase in their recognition of it.

110] Say, it matters not you call Him Allah or you call Him Rahmaan because by whichever name you call Him all the good names like the ones you are told are for Him. The main thing is that you do not go overboard in your community network building responsibility nor take it lightly but seek a middle way.

111] That is how you should proclaim, sovereignty only belongs to Allah Who has no begotten son to succeed Him nor has He any partnership with anyone in the sovereignty of this Kingdom and there is none more powerful than Him to humble Him, so accept His greatness and establish His great Kingdom on the earth for the good of the mankind.

Surah 18 AL-KAHF The Sociopolitical, Socioeconomic & Religious gulf between mankind

Proclaim in the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

[1] that sovereignty belongs to Allah alone Who has revealed to His messenger a purpose--bound comprehensive book for spreading the message of peace among mankind in which He left no room for people to live in tensions and dissentions due to their make beliefs.

[2] It is a message that is a firm foundation for life of peace and prosperity for mankind with warning from Him about terrible consequences if it is ignored and that is how thereby He gives news of blissful life to those who will commit to working for peace such as work hard to remove rifts from among people to unite them, surely for them is a great benefit in all this

[3] which they will enjoy for as long as they live if they keep up with its maintenance.

[4] Moreover He also warns those who claim, Allah has begotten a son.

[5] They have no proof for it nor did their forefathers, this is a grossly damaging claim for unity of mankind that comes out of their mouths. They state nothing but a lie to cause baseless divisions.

[6] By the look of it you are driving yourself to death through stress by worrying about them as to what will happen to them if they commit not to working for peace according to this message.

[7] The fact is We have equipped the earth nicely with all kinds of things for serving the needs and wants of people including Our guidance to help them struggle through for higher goal in order to let them demonstrate which of them does what is beneficial for the mankind.

[8] That is how We produced things on the earth in simple form to let them develop gradually through tiny steps to higher state of existence through interaction.

[9] So instead of stressing over behaviour of ignorant people what do you think about the party of those people who took refuge in a valley surrounded by mountains to save themselves from persecution due to Our scripture because of their such behaviour they became part of Our wonderful lessons for generations to come?

[10] At the time families of those mostly young people took refuge in the valley saying, our Lord, grant us blissful life through Your scripture and thus enable us to fulfil our mission properly.

[11] So We isolated them from those who were after them for a number of years in the valley to develop according to Our program,

[12] that is how We raised them above their enemies to demonstrate which of the two parties could best account for the time they spent apart from each other.

[13] We are telling you their story for a set purpose. They were mostly young people who committed to working for peace for the mission of their Lord because We raised in them better understanding of Our guidance towards which they worked.

[14] That is how We raised courage in their minds so that they rise up and declare among their people, our sustainer is only He Who sustains the heavens and the earth so we should not live by or accept rule of any other claimant of sovereignty than His in this kingdom because if we do, we will be inflicting a great harm upon each other as a community.

[15] These people of ours have taken for rulers other than Him. If they have any right to do that then why don’t they put forth any convincing proof of their sovereignty? Who is more harmful and destructive for humanity than the one who denies sovereignty of Allah by attributing sovereignty to others in His kingdom?

[16] They had already decided to leave their people to settle elsewhere if they refused to heed them saying to each other, let us leave these people after denouncing the claims of those who claim and accept sovereignty for others than Allah and take refuge in some remote place away from them, your Lord will shower you with his blessings through working according to His blissful program, that is how He will help you fulfil your mission.

[17] If you looked at the sun the while in the valley surrounded by mountains, it would appear to you that the rising sun declined to the right of their valley and as it is setting it passed them on the left, that is wherein they lived in a wide open space in between. This is one of the many lessons from Allah. He who accepts guidance of Allah is guided alright but he whom He lets go his own way you will find no guide to lead him to the path that is proper.

[18] Moreover you will find them fully alert and on their guard even though they were at peace in order to continuously maintain that peace and prosperity. That is how We made them more resourceful from their enemies spreading them on their right and on their left sides and that is how their hard work brought them to the threshold of success. If you people dropped in upon them to check them out, you would turn back and run from them because you will be overcome by their awe due to their fighting skills and preparations.

[19] That powerful was their state of existence to which we raised them through Our program from the state in which they were so that they could keep a check on their opposers to ensure peaceful and prosperous existence. At length a party of their elders said to their youngsters, how long have you people been living in this valley? They said, we have been here for a long period of time or a good part of it. They said, your Lord knows exactly how long you people have been living here but think about when did you last send any envoys to other people to find out about them and call them to the way of Allah, so let a party of you be sent on a fact finding mission to the mother city of the kingdom we came from with this message of yours, and let it find out who has fared better we or those people we left behind so bring us some useful piece of information about this people so that we could judge the situation. Let the group conduct its affairs with caution and let it not behave in a way whereby others become alert of our presence among them and take us as their enemies.

[20] Because if they discover you among them, they will stone you to death or force you to live by their traditions and customs and in that case you will never attain peace and prosperity.

[21] But that is why We let their message keep on spreading among their people after they left them so that they come to know that the promise of Allah is true and that there is no doubt about the coming of the moment of sudden uprising if people fail to take Our advice seriously. At length after they left them the people of the township began arguing among themselves about their mission therefore some suggested, let us make them the basis and build our society upon their foundation because it was their Lord that taught them. The people who were able to fulfil this task among them said, let us build according to them a proper institution.

[22] Now some say, the institutions put in place by them were three and the forth one was for their training or to keep a watch over the rest of their institutions. The others say, the institutions put in place by them were five and the sixth one was for their training or monitoring the functioning of their other institutions, and there are still others who say, the institutions put in place by them were seven and the eighth one was for their training or monitoring their rest of institutions to keep them in line. Say, my Lord Alone makes known their number none but a few really know their purpose. So do not argue about their number but their purpose that is obvious and that is why you do not need any verdict about them from any of those who argue about them without understanding the purpose.

[23] Nor put off your task about anything that should be handled straightaway thinking I will certainly do it tomorrow

[24] unless it is in accordance with program of Allah! That is how you should demonstrate glory of your Lord for people to see unless you forget but even then express hope that my Lord will guide me ever closer to what is proper way of handling the affairs.

[25] As for the length of time the generations of people of the valley spent in isolation, they remained separate from their community for three hundred plus nine years.

[26] Tell your people, Allah makes known period of their isolation because He is the One Who makes known for mankind the secrets of the heavens and the earth therefore understand things through His vision and do things according to His guidance! Your people must come to realise that they have no refuge other than following His set laws because He does not allow anyone share in sovereignty of His kingdom.

[27] Remain consistent with what has been revealed to you of the book of your Lord, none has the power to change His Words and you will find no refuge to protect you from harmful mindset and destructive attitude save His guidance that stops you from harmful beliefs and destructive actions against each other.

[28] So O you the individual, keep yourself working hard along with those who rely upon set out universal laws of their Lord morning till evening seeking fulfilment of His set out goal for them therefore let not your eyes turn away from them desiring the attractions of worldly life against Our guidance. Moreover never favour such whose mind is free from paying attention to Our set out goals and guidelines for mankind and follows his own make beliefs therefore breaks all bounds that benefit humanity while conducting his affairs.

[29] Therefore make it clear to all that this Quran serves the purpose of proof from your Lord for what is true and what is false and what is right and what is wrong, so let him who commits to working for peace do so for his own benefit and let him who commits to working for wars do so towards his own destruction. For such as inflict harm and destruction upon each other We have put in place the rule of consequences so in time they are bound to end up in fire of hatred whose flames will surround them like the walls of a tent. As this stage will arrive they will look for freedom from this situation because the consequences of their actions against each other will submerge them fully into harm and destruction. What a dreadful way to learn the lesson and what a terrible way to live.

[30] That is why those who commit to working for peace work hard to remove dissentions among mankind so We do not let go to waste their efforts instead We reward them with better rewards than the best of their deeds in form of improved world order.

[31] They are the ones for whom there will be kingdoms like the Gardens of Eden wherein will flow things of their need and desire like rivers. Thus therein they will be surrounded with things of value and they will be covered in prosperity all year round as if they are covered by clothes made of green silk that shines. That is the high level of dignity they will rise to, what an excellent reward for such people and what a beautiful way they will live.

[32] Share with people this parable in order to help people understand the difference between two ways of life. Once there were two people with two different mindsets and attitudes. To one of them We had given two gardens of grapevines surrounded with palm-trees and put between them land for cultivating crops.

[33] Each of those gardens yielded abundant produce and neither failed to yield its best because We had caused a river to flow between the two gardens.

[34] Because he had abundant produce he said to his fellow man while arguing with him, I am much richer than you and my clan is much mightier than yours.

[35] He had his mindset and attitude based upon rivalry rather than brotherhood so having thus based himself wrongly as regard his outlook on life he entered his garden and said, I do not think that this garden will ever perish

[36] nor do I think the moment will arrive in my life when I am weak and poor and even if I should be referred for judgment according to standard of my Lord, I should be given better than what I already have.

[37] His fellow man replied his argument by saying to him, do you disregard advice of Allah Who brought you about like plants from the earth due to seed and fashioned you into a proper human being?

[38] As far as I am concerned, Allah is the only one Who is my sustainer so I do not live by rule of anyone in His kingdom than His own rule.

[39] So what prevents you from expressing yourself according to that which fulfils program of Allah when you enter your garden, after all none has the power other than Allah! Though you see me lesser than yourself in wealth and children

[40] yet my Lord may enable me to have a garden better than yours and let thunderbolts from sky fall upon your garden turning it into a barren wasteland.

[41] Or its water may dry out and you are unable to find it.

[42] In time it so happened that all his fruit produce was destroyed and the vines tumbled down upon their trellises so he wrung his hands with grief for all that hard work he had put in this was lost. He cried regretting, I wish I had not lived in opposition to the rule of my Lord against concept of community life.

[43] All that because he was against teachings of Allah for helping others despite being unable to avert catastrophe all by himself but then when bad time came for him he could not find help other than from Allah through his community.

[44] It was then that he realized that the real protection comes only from program of Allah for mankind. Working together as a single family according to His program brings best results because it brings abundant prosperity.

[45] O messenger, explain for those who live aimless lives by an example about life of this world. It is like the vegetation of the earth that flourishes with the rain from the heaven but afterwards the same vegetation turns into dry stubble which is blown away by the winds. However living by program of Allah gives mankind power over everything because Allah has set up laws for governing affairs of all things.

[46] The wealth and children are only a short lived attraction for life in this world unless dissentions and rifts are kept at bay among mankind because that prolongs life that is greatly rewarding according to your Lord and acts as foundation bringing hope for better future.

[47] So O mankind, prepare yourselves for the time of that kind of life so that We help you remove the people in positions of power who keep others down through creating divisions so that you could see the socio-political and socio-economic landscape evened out throughout the world. That is how in time We will unite mankind all together as a single community under Our rule leaving not a single person on his own.

[48] Thus they all will be brought under rule of your Lord according to program of your Lord fully organised in classified sections for administration purposes and so it will be made known to them, you have returned to Our rule as We set you up at the beginning yet you assumed that We will not fulfil to you Our this promise.

[49] That is how the rule by the book will be established and you will see those who commit crimes against masses (the people in positions of power) in great terror because of what is in Our book. That is why they will say, bad news for us, what kind of book is this? It left out not a thing needed for mankind to live a beneficial life whether small or large but all is accounted for yet we ignored it! They will find results of all that they did against the book before their very eyes because Your Lord is never unjust to anyone.

[50] Call to mind the time when We said to the chiefs in the land, support Adam as your chief administrator, so all accepted his appointment except Iblees who was one of the elite classes and chose to disregard the commandment of his Lord. Will you then take him and his ilk as your leaders to protect you rather than Me even though they are your enemies? What a bad substitute the opposers of Our guidance have chosen!

[51] I did not call them to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor their own creation, nor do I take those who lead mankind away from My guidance as My supporters.

[52] On the day Our rule becomes established it will be said to them, call on those for help whom you assumed to be My partners in sovereignty of this kingdom. They will call them but will receive no answer. That is how We let animosity arise and increase between them because of harm and destruction they inflict upon each other.

[53] The criminals will see the fire of hatred they themselves have been igniting and realize that they are going to fall victim to it and going to be consumed by it but will find no way to escape.

[54] We have given all kinds of examples in this Qur’an to make the people understand this message yet mankind is exceedingly contentious.

[55] However nothing should stop people from committing to working for peace now that guidance of their Lord has come to them for their protection and prosperity unless they wait for the similar fate that overtook the people of the past or unless they wish to see themselves in terrible painful suffering before they before they realise the truth of this message.

[56] We send Our messengers only to proclaim good news for those who will do good for others and to deliver warnings to those who inflict harm and destruction upon each other but with self defeating arguments the opposers of Our guidance seek to defeat this truth and that is how they take Our set out goals and guidelines and warnings for them for a laugh.

[57] Who is more harmful and destructive than the one who when reminded of the guidelines of his Lord, turns away from them in order to hide what harms his own hands have done to others? We let their arrogance based ignorance be the veil over their minds because they do not bother to understand this Quran and so they have become heedless. Call them all you like towards Our guidance, they will never be guided because they will keep on ignoring Our guidance.

[58] Your Lord is protector of mankind because He is Lord of blissful program for them. Had He seized people instantly for their wrong doings against each other then He would have hastened their consequences without any respite but instead He has set up a respite time after which they can find no refuge.

[59] All those nations whom We let destroy themselves for their own wrongdoings to each other were given respite and a period of time for their own salvation or destruction.

[60] Call to mind when Moses said to his party of supporters, I will not give up making effort until I unite two masses of people fighting each other even if I have to spend ages on this journey.

[61] At last when they reached unity between them both, the length/condition of their life increased/improved as a united community that set itself on a new course of action for the mass of people heading for the same goal of peace and prosperity.

[62] When they had made some progress Moses said to his company, let us refresh ourselves about the program so that our journey for reconciliation turns this program into a reality.

63] One of the party said, you see, since we have based ourselves upon solid foundation, I have noticed that our life has improved, I should never forget this unless the harmful and destructive leadership prevents me from striving according to His program. This program has made possible reconciliation of the masses in a surprising way.

[64] Moses said, that is the state of affairs we were looking for and that is how the divided groups retraced their footsteps back to unity. Thus reversal of process of disunity leads back to unity.

[65] All because they found one of Our subjects whom We blessed with blissful information from Us and whom We gave intelligence from Us for handling various affairs.

[66] Moses requested him, will you let me accompany you for a time so that you let me see how you have been given the wisdom to deal with things properly?

[67] He said, surely but you do not look to me a keen observer

[68] and how can you be a keen observer when you do not yet have the full information about the subject matter under your observation before you respond to the situation?

[69] Moses said, you will surely find me keen observer and I will not interfere in anything you do so long as you do things according to the rule of Allah.

[70] He said, if you insist on accompanying me for mere observation as to how I do things then you are not to interfere with anything I do unless I ask for your help about it myself.

[71] So they set off on a venture till they met a party of people in similar situation broken into factions quarrelling among themselves. Moses said to the leaderships of the factions, you are going to ruin the people of this nation of yours. You have done a very wrong thing.

[72] The wise man said, did I not say that you do not look to me a keen observer?

[73] Moses said, pardon my forgetfulness and please do not hold it against me.

[74] So they carry on their journey till they come across a very energetic man so he gave him a good verbal thrashing or a very critical lecture, Moses said, you have thumped a person with a very critical lecture who has done nothing wrong to anyone. Surely you have done an undesirable thing!

[75] Wise man said, did I not say that you do not look to me a keen observer?

[76] Moses replied, if I interfere in your business again after this then you are under no obligation to keep me in your company and I will have no complain against you.

[77] So they carry on their journey until they reach a people of a township who became divided into two factions and were about to fall into civil war. They asked them for participation in their program to unite them but they tried to refuse them the role of mediators but they did not that is how when they found in that township unity among people falling apart they repaired it by removing the reasons from among them for rifts. The response of Moses to their refusal of their role for mediation was, let them suffer the consequences of their actions if they do not wish to unite.

[78] The wise man replied, this is the parting of company between you and me but first I should explain to you those acts of mine which you could not bear to watch patiently.

[79] As for party of the people quarrelling with each other, it belonged to the very same peaceful community that worked as one mass of people so I decided to remove the rift between them that was caused between them by a king who was keen on taking over every good community through causing rifts and dissentions among them.

[80] As for the energetic man, he was leader of a community who ought to take care of his young and old because they were true followers of divine guidance and we feared lest he harms them due to his harmful and destructive mind set and attitude so we put him in the right frame of mind and attitude.

[81] It was our wish that their Lord should change him for the better for them, a son of community who keeps community free of rifts and keeps them on road to prosperity.

[82] As for the community that was about to fall victim to civil war, it belonged to two individuals contesting for leadership of the community in the township after the death of their community leader because under the umbrella of united community laid great benefit for both the factions. Since their community father was a good leader who kept community free of rifts and dissentions, your Lord desired that these successors of his should raise their thinking level through my help so that they could rediscover their treasure that lies in community life. All this was done by me according to blissful program of your Lord and not as per my own personal desire. That is the explanation of my those actions about which you did not stay out of my business just as an observer with patience.

[83] They will inquire of you about a man who could bring two warring factions of people together (zu al qarnain). Say, let me tell you some things about him.

[84] Indeed We let him establish himself in the land that is how We gave him all things essential for this purpose.

[85] That is why he set himself on a fact finding path

[86] till he arrived in the west whereat he was stopped by the marshes whereby he found a community of people. We said, O Zulqarnain, you have the option either to let these people suffer the consequences of their own actions (leave them to themselves) or to show them kindness by doing something that benefits them.

[87] He said, anyone who commits any crime against others we will put him through due process of a set law for punishment that is how we will refer regarding him to law of his Lord to be punished according to set out law by Him.

[88] As for such who commits to working for peace and acts to remove problems from the community, he will have a reward that brings improvement in the community and that will make it easy for him to accomplish Our mission.

[89] In time after that he set out on another exploration trip

[90] till he arrived in the east whereat he became aware of a community for whom We had not provided any security other than its reliance upon itself.

[91] That is how things should be so he left them as they were, We had full knowledge whatever the task lay before him.

[92] That is why he set out on a yet another expedition

[93] till he arrived among two multitudes of people whereat he found no other people than these two multitudes of people, one of which could hardly be made to understand what was said.

[94] The other people said, O Zulqarnain, people given to loot and warfare have ravaged this land so should we pay you tribute in order for you to build a strong barrier between us and them?

[95] Zul-Qarnain said, the program which my Lord has granted me is more than enough just help me with worker-force to spread it and I will build a strong bridge between you and them.

[96] Bring me pages of the criterion for building a relationship between you. Finally when he had bridged the gap between the two multitudes, he said, keep fanning this relationship to keep it alive. They did so until the standard became well entrenched in their minds then he said, bring me some top people among you so that I could set them on this job of monitoring it as an extra security measure

[97] so that either of the people do not transgress against it or destroy the constitution agreed between them bit by bit.

[98] He said, this is the blissful program from my Lord. That is how when the program of my Lord becomes established throughout the world He will level out all crookedness from the human community. The program of my Lord always proves true.

[99] On that day We will let the people free to surge like waves to merge with one another. That is how we will put a new life into mankind when We will assemble the mankind all together under Our constitution

[100] because We will lay the life of hell bare before the opposers of Our program

[101] who had turned a blind eye to My mission and a deaf ear to My warning.

[102] Do the opposers of My rule think that they can take My subjects as their rulers instead of Me? Certainly We let such opposers of Our guidance prepare for themselves hell for their own entertainment.

[103] O Muhammad say to them, should We tell you the worst kind of losers regarding their deeds?

[104] Those whose all efforts in the life of this world have strayed from the right goal but all along they were under their self created delusion that they were doing good for themselves the while they were inflicting harm on others.

[105] They are the ones who oppose the goal and guidelines of their Lord instead of meeting His requirements therefore their deeds become void of any benefit for mankind so they carry no weight to avert the day of uprising.

[106] Therefore the result of actions of such people is life of pain and suffering because they oppose My rule and because they take My guidelines and My messengers for a laugh.

[107] However those who commit to working for peace and work hard to remove rifts and dissentions from among people they are sure to be entertained in the highly blissful kingdoms

[108] to live therein for as long as they live that way and they will not desire any change in that environment.

[109] Say, program of my Lord will become a reality even if the opposing masses helped each other to eliminate the words of my Lord, the masses will become obsolete long before the words of my Lord even if We helped them with more of the same.

[110] Say, I am a human being just like you but the message is sent to me by Allah to proclaim it to you the mankind that your ruler is only one therefore, whoever wants to meet the guidelines of his Lord, let him take action to remove causes for rifts from among people to unite them and not to take any of the subjects of Allah as sovereigns in his kingdom.

My point concerning language is that arabic language is unique among languages today that are in normal use since time long past. Its sister languages have become obsolete. Even hebrew language that came to being along with arabic and aramaic are no longer known other than by experts and hebrew is being reconstructed and the old testament has been obtained from the translations of the original. This is very much obvious if people look into copies of the bible like king james version in english. Therein we can find foot notes telling us a) about lost text in the bible and b) lost meanings of the words. However in copies of later versions of the biblic text has been repaired.

Regardless the study of hebrew language due to being very closely related to arabic gives us muslims insight into development of arabic as well as to how it is supposed to work.

After study one should realise why revelation of the quran was in arabic and not other languages. It is because root system links us to the past or origin of the language and modifications help us keep the language alive and useful for the future.

The special feature of root based languages is that meanings attached to the roots can be modified without losing the original sense because modifications can be explained by reasons without the need for changes in the actual text.

The original meanings given to roots remain unaffected by grammatical changes that modify roots into words for their use in sentences. The roots change into words known as derivatives of roots eg if we take word islam, it is derived from root SEEN, LAAM and MEEM. This root had many derivatives as well as meanings.

These modifications are necessitated by use of a word in a sentence for a set purpose. A word may be used as a noun in a sentence and that has to be either a subject or an object regardless direct or indirect or an adjective. The same happens in case of form ie to indicate singularity or plurality or in case of arabic duality as well. Since sentence must also indicate gender so words must be modified for that reason also eg their masculinity or femininity is to be expressed by the sentence. Likewise there are others reasons for such inflections or modifications. No matter whatever the changes are made in root to form words from it the derived words keep their root meanings or concepts related to roots.

Many people become confused and think root changes meanings with such modifications but it does not.

The main difference between later languages and the ancient languages in terms of words is that older languages used words for their meanings that came about naturally eg word MUM, AMMA for mother etc. It is still baby language ie babies call their mothers mum mum ie supplier for their food. It seems that babies when made this noise the mothers responded and so over a period of time people began to call their feeders mothers. The word became more and more important with time as human race realised role of mother more and more and that is how came about word ummah=meaning mother or nation.

In later languages words are used as labels rather than as naturally occurring purposeful sounds by humans to name things or their actions etc not due to their meanings but just to give things names for example. It is therefore very important point to realise how in original languages words were based upon concrete meanings fit for the purpose. Older languages have become obsolete save arabic language because most languages had not have the reasons to be preserved to stay alive or that they were over run by later civilisations. The importance of words and their real meanings is not realised unless people see the need for it. Since less and less number of people see the need for knowing about language in detail so the problems arose among people on basis of words because of their lack of knowledge about the purpose of language and how it ought to work.

Even hebrew became obsolete and is being reconstructed through help of sister languages like aramaic and arabic etc. In this way if we look at the quran it is a unique book in ancient language that is still spoken and written and understood the same way as it was at the time of its invention. This makes arabic language a unique language in the world today. All this is due to preservation of the quran otherwise arabic as a language was not any better than hebrew for example. Hebrew became obsolete because earlier divine books no longer survived or those who followed them accepted the quran and so there was no need seen to preserve the language for other reasons. Moreover those jews who did not accept islam it was better for them to let go the book they had and its language because otherwise they could not oppose the quran as Toraat was just like the quran only in hebrew language. This is why the quran tells us that jews knew the quran was from same source as toraat because they were identical books with exactly the same purpose and structure in sense of use of language and the message. The present so called toraat is not that God sent toraat but some of our molvies do not know that so they still take the current first five books of bible as toraat. Although old testament's first fives books are not that toraat it is set of books like hadith books attributed to moses and so there is still a lot of similar information in it as there was in the original toraat.

The same is true in case of ZABOOR and INJEEL or any other scriptures given to other messenger eg scriptures given to ibraheem or for that matter to noah.

The other reason the original divine scripture do not exist today is because there were always conspiracies against divine messages and messengers so once followers gave up following the true message scribes could get rid of it because there were not many who wrote copies of those scriptures. Rulers and priests have been together in converting deen in to religion in order to separate state and religious affairs. So separation between state affairs and affairs relating God is not new rather all rebellious people always fought against the divine message as much as they could. Kings ruled over people in the name of country and priests ruled over people in the name of God. That is how we ended up with ideologies and rules and regulations for states and ideologies, rules and regulations for religions. More about this later.

Let us now see what is special about arabic language that all muslims and nonmuslims must know. The special thing about arabic is how its roots have been attached various meanings from which are created words for the language to be used in the sentences. There are four different reasons whereby words are given meanings. a) concrete root meanings that arose through natural sounds b) derived root meanings that lead back to concrete meanings. c) meanings given to words for grammatical reasons so that they fit the sentences and d) meanings given to words that are used as labels for names of things or their actions.

Let us take root SEEN, LAAM and MEEM. This three letter combination is called root or MAADA. In this case the root has various meanings eg peace, safety, security, tranquillity, rest, completeness, submission, commitment, acceptance, ladder, staircase, give up, give in, surrender, receive, free from obstacle or problem or trouble, hand over, resign and the list of meanings keeps going on.

The question is, when a word has so many meanings does it then not become difficult to understand the message? My answer is that it does not because whatever we say, we say it in a context so people who send and receive messages they can make sense of them due to presence of a context and a purpose in the message. It is because people ignore the purpose and the context of the message that they make a mess of the quranic message when they translate it. The quran cannot be translated on word for word basis because we may not be sure of the purpose and context of the message at a time or that we may not be able to find words for words that could replace each other 100%. This is why the religions that have lost original scriptures in original languages and try to reconstruct them through translations cannot do so. Therefore the quran has the huge advantage over other scriptures that are no longer in original languages or in original text and word structures.

This is why no matter how hard jews try to reconstruct hebrew bible it is never going to be like original unless they seek help from the quran but then if they do that why not just follow the quran instead?

Let me now draw attention to word roots and their meanings. Roots in actual fact do not have different meanings but it appears that they do. Why? Because original meaning is driven home each time when we apply the so called other meanings through explanations. Let me explain this by means of an example. ROOT SLM has various meanings as explained under root SEEN, LAAM and MEEM. The very basic purpose behind any root meaning is to get things in that state of being or take action to make something to be in that state of being. The basic meaning of root slm is state of rest ie no disturbance. The root combination is used for different purposes in a sentence ie we derive various words from it in order to use them in a grammatical sentence. This means we use words as names and if they are names then they are either subjects in a sentence or they are direct or indirect objects. Other variations occur because we want to show various forms eg singular, plural and in case of arabic duality as well. The other reason for change is to show gender difference eg masculinity or femininity. Then there is variation to show tenses eg simple, participle and past participle ie to show past, present or future as well as how complete the being is or the action is. All these variations to root are called inflections or derivatives of root or its variations. Other than that as explained the basic meanings of roots do not change due to derivatives ie slm root sticks to its meaning peace or rest no matter whatever the derivatives.

For example, take the derivative salam=ladder, the question is, what does word ladder mean? It means means to an end which is peace or rest because once ladder is put in place to do something and after you have completed the set out task you will be at rest nothing more to do in this regard so you are in peace. ASLAM, submit= once the person has submitted the rest state is achieved and so the task set out is complete. So one can see how no matter what the meanings we give to seen, laam and meem root the end result is always peace and rest. It is because the things is at rest ie in state of rest or action is taken by some one or something to get it in state of rest or it is gotten into state of rest by action of some one or something. So one can see how object is or is made to be in relation to root sml. This is why those who do not understand how arabic language actually works get confused about understanding the quran. This is main reason some people argue word islam means peace and others say it means submission. neither realise that end result of both the meanings is same ie peace and rest ie no disturbance or trouble.

It should also be realised that unless one understand this idea very clearly one is unlikely to understand why the quranic text can be given different meanings and such person should never translate the quran and even if any does his translation is not likely to be correct. Most objections are why muslims keep changing translations of the quran? The answer is simple that even though God is perfect and so is his message but understanding of humans is neither perfect nor can it ever be. Humans are creatures created to be able to learn so if they were born already knowing everything, why would they need divine guidance? Moreover if they were born totally ignorant and not capable of learning then why would they need guidance when they could not benefit from that? This is why the quran is the way it is and people are the way they are and through step by step interaction things improve from human standpoint ie knowledge of people about things changes with time and effort and that is why you did not see things when you grew up as you did when you were a baby. You kept changing your ideas about things because new information about things kept forcing you to change your opinion about things. This also knocks out the objection that if the quran is perfect word of God why it needs people to explain it. It is because God is already knowing things so he makes statements based upon his knowledge therefore they are as tyhey should be but people have yet to learn things about which he is talking to them so as they learn things they keep on changing their opinions about word of God till they know better or find the God intended meanings of words. All this is natural and those who discourage study of the quran or start fighting over differences of opinion are stupid. It is because they do not realise the purpose of the quran. Its purpose is to educate people through their own individual efforts by way of their interaction with it like children interact with their parents and society and rest of things in their own environment in order to learn things step by step just like interaction between parents and children. Parents tell kids something and when kids understand that much then they are told next things and then the next. The quran being the last message of God for humanity it contain all that people will ever need for their guidance. These are very fundamental points that people ignore when they read the quran but if they ignore these points then they are unlikely to know what the quran is all about.

The real advantage of the root system is ability of the text based on this system to be understood correctly at all times without the need for change in the actual text with time. What does this mean? It means the quranic text can never be proven wrong. It is because the text based on root has the ability to change the meanings to give rise to different concepts to readers according to their individual ability of understanding things.

Why the quran needed to be like that? It is because the quran needed to be understood at the time it was revealed as well as till the end of the time. The quran is fixed in its text and concepts because it is word of God but people who read the quran are not Gods and they are born knowing nothing and they keep on learning and so their understanding of things changes with time and growth of their life experience and thereby knowledge so this idea takes care of all such variable factors. Showing clearly the uniqueness of arabic and quran combination as well as how divine revelation and human reason go hand in hand.

Unless people learn to use the quran this way the quran will prove useless for them no matter what.

I will keep on explaining concepts individually till I bring them all together to show how they work together without any problem.


Now coming to language itself, it is a very complex issue and has various aspects eg we can have sign language, spoken language or written language. It has symbols representing sounds or signs which we give name letters. Each language has its own set of alphabet. These letters are brought together to represent sounds or signs we take for words.

We use phrases, clauses and sentences to represent spoken words.

grammar therefore is a field of knowledge which tries to make sense of how people make sounds or signs and use language and what do they mean by them. Therefore we categorise these for various reasons eg we group words in to nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, determiners, prepositions etc. This tells us about functions of words in our speech.

The other thing is we break down parts of speech into phrases, clauses, sentences and paragraphs etc. This helps us define parts of speech for various reasons eg to determine meanings for words in state of action and in state of inaction. All actions are time bound hence the need for definitions because some actions complete, other do not and yet others keep going etc etc.

All this when it is reduced to writing, we come up with loads of punctuation marks to indicate how words were used in speech in order to convey the moods for example or pauses and stoppages etc.

Going back to grouping of words, it becomes a very complex thing as we open up each of the elements in the group eg take nouns for example, there are various reason why we group them in to subgroups eg we group words used as nouns for ideas or for actual things so we call them abstract nouns and concrete nouns. This helps us to know whether we are talking about solid objects or mere concepts. For example, word chemistry is categorised as an abstract noun and word used for labelling an object eg word chair is categorised as a concrete noun. This tells us one noun is merely a label for an idea because we cannot touch chemistry because chemistry is not an object. On the other hand word chair is a concrete noun because we have an object and we want to label it by a word.

Likewise we name things for lots of different reasons so we end up with lots of different kinds of nouns or categories of nouns.eg pronouns, common nouns, collective nouns, proper nouns, genitive nouns, title nouns, numeral nouns, compound nouns, simple nouns and I can go on and on.

We categorise nouns origin wise, complexity wise, tangibility wise, gender wise, number wise, countability wise, usage wise etc etc.

Same when we come to breaking down of sentences in to groups. We categorise verbs on basis of whether these words are used in sentences or are they on their own. On their own they are in there indefinite form or infinite form. However when they are used in sentences then they are broken down in to four basic forms eg simple form, continuous form, perfect form and perfect continuous form. In various grammar books these categories are named differently but they mean the same thing.

These four categories are further divided in to groups on basis of time eg past, present and future. So we end up saying past simple, present simple and future simple eg I went, I go, I will go sort of thing.

Coming to sentence constructions, we have grouping based upon nature of sentences ie polarity wise sentences are either negative or positive, structure wise they are responsive, interjective or informative. combination wise they are simple, compound, complex and compound complex. Mood wise they are imperative, interrogative, declarative and subjunctive and so on.

A sentence could have various constructions eg

1)subject+predicate
2)subject+predicate+object
3)subject +predicate+adverbial
4)subject+predicate+object+adverbial
5)subject+verb+indirect object+object
6)subject+verb+object+indirect object
7)subject+verb+predicate
8)subject+verb+object+predicate

and so on.

Each language has its own construction and structuring of sentences but the basic ideas remains the same.

The complexities of grammar very clearly show that it is not the grammatical rules that decide the meanings of the words but that we are simply trying to decode them in to grammatical rules the way they are spoken or used and that is when we find that not all uses of a language fit a grammatical category so we have exceptions to rules of grammar.

This is like we are walking along and we come across a space ship in a field and then we try and investigate what it is, where it has come from and how it might work etc etc. It is same problem as why we are here if you like. When we were born we saw people talking and we just wanted to make things a bit understandable so lots of our works are only and only for that reason and cannot be taken 100% decided. We are simply trying to come up with ideas and see which one can take us further than we already are. This is how language experts decode ancient languages meaning wise and we see that they make sense so we accept their explanations as proofs.

So I would not discourage anyone from trying whatever comes to one's mind instead I would encourage it because one of us may be able to help us further our understanding of things from where we stand.

So please encourage each other and we will all be fine. Remember rome was not built in a day so we should keep up the good work for better understanding of things.

I think analysis about islam and quran cannot be as effective as it could be unless it is clarified on basis of some solid foundation. Muslim community as a whole is in a terrible confusion regarding what islam is really based upon.

All muslims think is that islam is based upon quran and hadith and that is it. This is the cause of confusion. The reason is they discount the individual and his brain or the active agent. So long as people do not take human ability to reason as basis for thought process, confusion will remain.

Let me try and explain the fundamental basis for any argument in relation to brain and information. Brain is nothing without information to process. You cannot argue against that if you do you not only lack education but thinking ability also, in fact your ignorance is worst than animals because having brain and not realising even this much of the reality throws one out of fold of humanity.

The information is useless unless it is processed by a processing agent. Again one cannot argue with that unless one is brain dead.

So this establishes relationship between a human and the information a human comes across to process. Again no argument is possible against this reality.

The brain is all about having information, reasoning it out and then storing it back in to its memory for recalling it when prompted as and when the need be.

The brain learns how to work on any information it gets throughout its life time. The information normally comes to brain through senses and senses get information from within the environment one finds oneself in through interaction with other existing things within the environment.

This builds human confidence in one's own abilities and helps one find out what one can or cannot be or what one can or cannot do.

Only a stupid person would deny life experiences and take on make beliefs that have no basis whatsoever. This is why nothing should be believed that contradicts reasonable realities. Anyone who believes anything against verifiable realities is as good as brainless.

It is important to distinguish between realities and ideas that contradict them and the ideas that are obviously not known realities themselves but they do not contradict the accepted realities either. In short such ideas may be realities but we can neither verify them nor deny them.

To understand this explanation is necessary for proper understanding of islam that depends upon proper understanding of the quran and the hadith which in turn depend upon rules of wisdom or judgement. It shows very clearly that basis for human reasoning is brain and the quran and the realities it talks about need to be understood in the context explained.

The reason is, if we knew everything all by ourselves then we needed no guidance of any sort of anyone including our parents and teachers or trainers and even God. It is because if you already are born fully aware of all things then why would you need anyone to guide you? This is very important point to realise.

The other point is, if we were born ignorant and incapable of learning then again the question is, why would we need any guidance of anyone when we could not make any use of it at all due to being incapable of doing that?


The way the world exists and the way we humans exist, it shows the whole thing works together ie we are placed in an environment to interact within it with whatever we find in there. This much should be clear to anyone who has ever thought about things.

This means there are things for which we need guidance and there are things we can find out for ourselves. However all is put together in such a way that one thing is useless without the other. This is why each thing that exists has a role to play in this world like actors in a movie play different characters. Here God has a role and man has a role and other things have their roles to fulfil in order to make the whole thing work as a one complete unit. In other words things complement each other for a set purpose.

We therefore cannot put each and everything to do in role of God and sit tight ourselves absolved of all responsibilities whatsoever. This is why unless we read the quran and understand various roles properly we will remain confused and dangerous. Stupidity only leads to painful suffering and that is where we are ie in a lot of pain and suffering as a nation. I wonder when we are going to educate ourselves to be proper human beings the quran wants us to be.

This very basic explanation should make clear to us we have our roles to play and the quran and hadith also have their roles and we need to be sensible enough to take advantage of that.

The quran can never be understood without knowing the rules of wisdom and realities of real life in the real world. So people should make effort to try and learn the quran properly so that they could benefit from that learning otherwise stupid people are destined for painful suffering and no one can save them from that not even God himself. It is because God has assigned them a role to play so there is no escape. We cry all we like to God this is not going to help. When a mother potty trains a child if she was not basing it upon discipline then child will never learn how to use toilet. Just thinking crying will save us from trouble is utterly stupid instead we should be learning ways to get out of the troubles we get ourselves in or stay away from them in the first place is the lesson of the quran.

Unless people realise what is proof and what is proving and how it all works, they can argue all they like but can never reach any satisfactory conclusion.

The very idea that my claims are true because I can back them up from the quranic and the hadith texts is seriously flawed because it does not work. Had it been sufficient then we would not have had so many sects in muslim ummah. This means mere names of the quran and hadith are not guaranty of correct quranic interpretation rather something is needed to based the quran and hadith upon that makes sense because it works. So what is that basis?

Anyone who argues to prove a claim yet knows not what proof and proving is or how a claim is proven can keep on arguing and nothing will be established at the end of the day.

This is where our mullahs and professors fail us very badly. It is time we stopped being silly and went for things that really matter and not for things that waste time.

The issue discussed here becomes very simple once anyone can answer the question of proof and proving. It is because deciding the basis for argument is vital not the detail. You cannot build a building without any solid basis. The truth is only true because it can be proven true and not because of our make beliefs.

The very foundation upon which is based the quran is unknown to us muslims and that is why we are in the situation that we are.

The real problem is understanding the role of the quran, the hadith and the fiqh in islam. We need to ask ourselves what is the purpose of the quran, what is the purpose of the hadith and what is the purpose of the fiqh or jurisprudence?

The question that helps understand things in their proper context is, what is islam? Once we realise what islam is then we can clearly see the role for each of the said things. Islam is goal set by Allah for the mankind through his message in form of the quran via his final messenger. The quran is the divine manifesto or program from Allah for the mankind to learn and teach each other and if people like the program then they come together and form a good human society basing it on the quran as its constitution.

The quran is constitution because it is word of the sole sovereign of this universe. Allah alone is king therefore only and only his word is law and not of any other person be one a prophet of Allah. This should leave no doubt in anyone's mind that quran has a unique place in islam for muslims ie people who are committed to live peacefully themselves and are duty bound to spread the very same message worldwide to rest of humanity.

People make a huge mistake when they attach hadith or fiqh with the quran in a wrong way. Hadith is mainly not word of Allah but a report about word or deed of the prophet or his companions. The report simply tells its reader about what the prophet said or did or what his companions said or did. It is like a newspaper telling on day to day things that happened at the time in that society or among those people. In these reports we find how prophet understood the divine message and implemented it by using the quran as basis for his society at the time under his circumstances and situations. Therefore the importance of hadith is that it tells us the way the divine messenger did things and not what he did in his time unless it is relevant to later times. Why? Because we live in a world that changes with time therefore circumstances change and situations change so not everything the prophet said or did remains relevant for all times. Only those things that remain relevant for all times and apply to situations and circumstances that still keep occurring that remain relevant other than that all things are time bound, circumstance bound or situation bound so trying to fit everything everywhere or trying to apply everything everywhere is utterly stupid thing to do and this is especially terrible if a muslim does that because he is supposed to be a learned man ie man of wisdom. If a man is educated by God who is wise acts ignorantly and worse than animals, how will that reflect on his educator God? So anyone who claims to be a muslim and yet acts stupid must think many times over as to what one is uttering or doing.

This helps to know what was told by Allah in the quran and how people including the prophet accomplished what they were told. From this muslims can derive some helpful ideas or clues as to how to use quran for their own circumstances and situations just like the prophet and his companion used it for their time.

Fiqh is also important in a similar way that we can learn how muslims throughout times acted according to their understanding of the quran and the hadith.

Just as prophet and his companions had to improvise things so did later muslims and so there is need for present muslims to follow the quran and the hadith the same way.

This is proper context of the whole thing, which shows clear relationship between all important sources of islam. One can clearly see that the quran sets clear limits as to how to form laws with a set purpose in mind ie to accomplish and maintain freedom, justice, fairness, compassion, brotherhood, peace, progress and prosperity within the muslim society. In islam the purpose of law is not to control people but to regulate the society for the set purpose of peace=islam. So any laws that oppress, suppress, cause injustice, unfairness, cruelty, animosity, regression, poverty and therefore trouble in muslim society are unislamic laws.

In time of prophet, the prophet himself and his companions used to solve their facing problem through mutual consultation in light of given quranic guidelines and so did later muslims and so should muslims of today. This must always be remembered by members of this ummah otherwise we will be shooting ourselves in the foot. Unfortunately that is what we have been doing so far and the result of doing that is in front of our own eyes that we have no respect in the world and we have no respect for each other. Time for us to change all that. Wake up and look at real world stop living in the imaginary world of your own.

Times change things change therefore situations change and circumstances change therefore to form new laws becomes a necessity all the time. This is why the divine constitution is given with values and formulae to give us ability to form laws as we need them rather than giving us list of laws. Start learning the quran and hadith properly showing that you have the brains the quran and hadith need for their proper understanding.

Taking hadith or fiqh laws as permanent is therefore right in some sense but wrong in another sense. All laws are permanent in the sense of their existence once they are formed but their application or use depends on situations and circumstances. No law is applicable at all the times under all the circumstances and in all situations.

Once people understand this basic context all differences between people will disappear that are based on misunderstadning of role of sources of islam.

The other differences are due to true and false information. It is accepted by all sects of muslims that not all so called ahadith are actually ahadith because many of them are false and many have other defects that do not allow them to reach set standards for their authenticity. Much more of that nature is true in case of fiqh books. All this came about due to sudden expansion of islam and lack of coping with it by muslims at the time. This resulted in people with ulterior motives join muislim ranks for their own agendas and therefore such information made its way in to islamic sources as was in fact anti islam eg jews who turned to islam were not all smart nor sincere so they spread their nonsense in guise of islam ie their ideas and traditions. The christians who accepted islam did the same and so did parsees and hindus or pagans etc etc. All brought their own baggages with them and slowly turned muslims like themselves instead understanding islam properly and spreading it, accomplishing it and maintaining it. This is why islamic empire that was build by the prophet did not last for long because later muslims did not work as hard to keep it alive as the prophet himself did.

This is why if people sorted out things properly then we will have pure islam that prophet himself implemented with help of his companions at the time.

As all islamic laws were and are made for a set purpose in mind due to certain situations and circumstances that face people at any given time under a set of circumstances therefore no law applies to anyone or anything unless those very situations and circumstances are present.

In context of the above explanation people can decide whether anything they fight over today is relevant or not or if it is then how much of it is relevant and how much should be left alone. The quran does not tell us any list of laws but just values and rules for formation of laws which muslims must make themselves with consultation looking at what is going on around the world and within muslim society. It is utterly stupid to make willy nilly laws then try to live by them which make a mess of the whole thing called islam and make muslims as awhole the laughing stock for the world.

Most translations of the quran are wrong and they are wrong because people who translated the quran failed to understand concepts the quran teaches. So the understandings of the quranic text that are based upon misconceptions are not going to be helpful to begin with. This problem can only be removed by producing a proper contextualised and conceptualised translation that is more of an explanation rather than word for word translation. It is because words do not have exact equivalents in other languages so they need to be explained rather than being replaced by another word that makes no sense. Not only that but is also a matter reading the mind of God and at best we can only try this is why no matter what no translation or interpretation is word of God but all are human works and so they should be treated as such. In other words don't put your own words in mouth of God or in other words don't be stupid be wise.

Ummah must take this major step in trying to understand the quran properly if it is ready to unite all its members. Otherwise there is no chance for peace even within muslim unmmah so world has to wait till we sort out our self created problems.

Our real problem when trying to understand islam through quran and related information


The need for proper study of divine message is not fulfilled by make belief based study of it or the comparative study of it.

What is needed is study of the message according to commonly accepted rules of wisdom that are beyond reasonable dispute. Most people have not yet woken up to that reality and they will not till education becomes available widely and not only that but till people start thinking critically and are able to put things together logically and factually like building a house brick by brick.

It is because people are born into an already existing environment there first struggle is to find out where each of them stand. It is matter of finding one's feet first and then see the wider context or one's relationship with one's own environment. Only when one has realised oneself and one's relationship with one's environment one may rise to find out whether this environment is the only environment available or are there other environments as well. If one manages to reach that much awareness only then one may rise to find out about each of the environment and see the difference between them and whether they are all equally good or bad or are some better than others and even if any are better than others is there room to improve upon any of them.

As one keeps on studying one keeps losing support of people because step by step such a person is rising above the rest and those who cannot move with him cannot any longer link with this person and some due to vested interests may even turn hostile. It is because the world is divided into three main groups. The most learned people, the least learned people and the ones somewhere in the middle of two extremes ie the spectrum is wide ranging.

The differences therefore are not a bad thing within themselves if purely based on amount of information people have but they are made bad by crooked people in the human communities. Because of this major divide the people in the middle must also become learned because unless they support the right side they are actually supporting the bad guys due to their ignorance and simple mindedness.

The world is divided on the basis of control of the land and its resources, means of production and distribution. It was divided by the ignorant and the arrogant because ignorance based arrogance is root cause of greed and therefore rivalry and hence the struggle for survival becomes an issue in itself. People then behave like worse than animals towards their own kind. This way we either move down in to the ditch of hell by supporting such leaders or we choose to support the opposite side and rise above to reach the heaven. We have been given all the world can offer us and we have been given the divine guidance but choice is ours to choose to act as to which way we wish to go. If we want better world then we must do all in our power to get a team in place and support the team that is working for better world.

Most of the mankind has been happily going down the ditch of hell so far and any calls to not to go that way have been ignored. What we call anti God people are not necessarily anti God and what we call religious or God people are not necessarily people of God because these are just claims of people or about the people but the validity of these claims depends upon the standard that ought to be found and followed as measure of good=beneficial or bad=harmful.

So the real question is, has anyone thought of or has one worked out any way of knowing what is right or wrong or how to go about finding out things and does that work ok? If one has then if one's claims prove true by that standard then one is right other wise not.

Knowing that standard is no longer that difficult because that is called scientific method. The next question therefore is, how to apply scientific method to the allegedly divine message and to those who claim to follow it?

All this involves trial and error method because even though the divine message is ok in its own right but the people being humans cannot be trusted 100% either in their findings or their applications. It is like even though we have the correct mathematical formula for solving a question and we apply it to solve a question yet there remain plenty of opportunities for error. We all know who have been through schooling how we used to think we have done questions right but teachers used to point out how we added or subtracted numbers wrongly.

Beside this some people try to mislead others to gain an advantage therefore methods alone cannot be relied upon so people need to be cross examined for their solutions to see which way they take us and why and whether that is good and beneficial for us human beings or bad and harmful and even destructive.

So it should be clear from all this explanation how not to go about anything including God. Taking things for granted could prove as bad as following make beliefs or superstition or myths etc.

So it is a good idea to learn and keep learning till the day we die but follow a method because random information collection and never trying to make sense of it is not really learning anything.

The main thing for anyone of us human beings is to realise that only God is God and that humans at best can only be humans. Only Allah is free of errors and humans being humans can never be Gods ie free of possibility of human error. This being the case we must remember the divisions of roles of God and human beings.

Even though message from God is error free yet human understanding is not necessarily error free. What does that mean? It means just as people can make mistakes in understanding the message so they can make mistakes in implementation of the divine will. So the basic question is how can we understand the message as best as possible for us. This requires us to have some basic understanding of the process involved for making sense of things.

As we all know that all our knowledge begins with suppositions ie we suppose things to begin with and then we try to build our picture from that base through trial and error. There is no any other way about it.

As we go along we put foundational brick in place and if we see it is stable then we put another on top of it and if it becomes unstable we move it and keep moving it till it is stable and in right place and then place on it the next brick and repeat the process each time and keep on building the structure so long as it remains stable. Thus we keep going for as long as we are successful in getting the balance right and we have the building as much as we can build in our life time. This is how far we can take this exercise. It is an act of balancing plates on sticks and each of us can only balance so many in our lives ie rome was not build in a day.

In short we are all out on a fact finding mission knowing absolutely nothing at all in advance. In other words when we are born we have nothing to go on other than the brain and its senses and the environment we are born in.

The learning process continues till the day we are unable to learn anything any more. Between the beginning and the end of our lives whatever we have experienced is total sum of our knowledge.

Some people have more knowledge than others due to having wider and deeper life experiences than others as well as some people have different knowledge from others due to having spent their lives in totally different environments from each other. This is why nothing is cut and dry for anyone.

By exchanging ideas with each other we are only sharing our own life experiences with each other and thereby we help each other learn from that. Some people who are better at absorbing information and putting it together in better ways put forth more convincing claims and evidences than others and therefore we tend to unite on something better than what we already have.

This is how humanity came to an agreement that rules of wisdom should be the basis for all our claims and evidences to judge by.

The main rule is that if we have two opposing statement then both of them cannot be true at the same time in the same sense. Either both are false or only one of them may be true.

Likewise any statement that contradicts self evident facts cannot be accepted true. The facts as understood by us at any given time.

What all this means is that nothing is true unless something is consistent within itself and with respect to realities of real world as understood by humans who do research and explore things.

This means that if the quran is divine in its origin then all its statements should prove free of contradictions within itself and with respect to realities of real world as far as they can be understood by human beings. Any information in the quran that humans yet do not understand cannot be used in evidence either till it becomes known as to what it stands for.

Since we are all on a journey of discovery therefore we should be allowed to continue this journey and we must not be stopped by each other because if we are stopped in the middle of this process then this process will remain an unfinished business and any claims about it by anyone will be absurd.

This is why claims of our sectarian friends are neither here nor there. They have so called aqaaid based religious interpretations of the quran that have countless mistakes in them because they do not use the proper idea for discovering the truth instead they take their make beliefs as sure thing and then try to prove them correct through quranic statements by their senseless interpretations.

The main point for us to realise is that in islam the quran is supposed to be the foundational text of isalm. For the quran to be proven genuine source of divine origin therefore we can never understand the quran in isolation from things that it is talking about. Since the quran talks about islam therefore we need to know what islam is, only then it will make sense likewise if it is divine manifesto of islam then we must also learn what a manifesto is all about before we could understand what the quran has to say as divine manifesto. Likewise if the quran is divine constitution for mankind to build their human community or society upon it then we need to know what are social structure, systems and practices that the quran is talking about. It is because there has to be relationship between constitution, its organisation and community as well as its institutions therefore if we do not make ourselves aware about these things then the quran cannot be understood at all.

It is therefore not right to ignore anything when we interpret the quran because every little can help to understand the quran. However nothing can be taken 100% genuine hence we are forced to take what works and leave what does not because whatever works to serve the stated purpose is right and all else is wrong. This is why we must take realities of the real world as basis to begin with and build upon that and the picture the quran gives us will gradually become clearer and clearer fitting like pieces of a jig saw puzzle.

For example, the quran claims that Allah has set for humanity a goal to accomplish and maintain and that goal is islam=peace. Peace according to the quran is not possible unless people accept certain terms and conditions as laid down in the quran eg freedom of individual from individual ie no man is slave of any other man. All are free from control of each other. If anyone tries to control any other be it through strength of arms, deceptive ideas or wealth, all such control is termed oppression or suppression. The quran wants people to deal justly and fairly with each other but compassionately in order to bring mankind together to tie them in to a brotherhood. This is necessary according to the quran because without such blood, marriage and ideological bonding people cannot cooperate with each other and they cannot make progress and therefore prosperity of nations becomes impossible to achieve. So long as these essential ingredients remain missing from human society peace therefore cannot be established between mankind. So long as there is no stability progress and prosperity cannot be assured.

This is why it is essential to realise the place of the quran in a human society. Without quran peace is impossible in the world because only the quran sets a goal that cannot be improved upon and the terms and the conditions the quran set for mankind cannot be surpassed. Hence the challenge in the quran that mankind cannot produce the like of the quran. Why not? Because the quran is the divine manifesto for islam=peace. It is the divine constitution for mankind to build their human society upon. No other manifesto or constitution can beat the quran on what it stand for.

So a muslim is the one who works for peace in the hope that God will reward him not only with good outcome of his efforts in this world in form of better world but also in hereafter.

This explanation should help people see how they should look at the quran and islam, God and mankind. Once people become aware of proper context of the quran then it is not at all difficult to see what people say and do is according to the quran and what is not. Islam is not necessarily what muslims claim it to be or what they do as islam but that quran is the foundation of islam and whoever claims and does what is in the quran in its own proper contexts is right and anyone else is not right.

So anyone who is critical of islam and quran must separate between islam and those who claim to follow it. If people believe and do wrong things in the name of islam that is not fault of islam and quran but of the people. The quran is just a divine advice and a guidance just like health guidelines which if people understand and follow properly will benefit them and if they do not then they will not help them. We cannot blame health guidelines for their misuse by the people.

Likewise any hadith that appears to oppose the quran should be first of all checked for its correct interpretation. Only such a report may be rejected that cannot be understood in proper quranic context no matter what but there is always possibility it might be true but not yet understood properly.

By now it should be clear to everyone how languages came about and works and how words were formed and how communication was bettered though invention of writing. All these were very important points to know for future issues going to be raised in this thread regarding the quran and islam. It very clearly shows evolution at work ie development of the world and things in it gradually over a very long period of time including humans.

The arrow of time and known data directs us in the following direction.

That people used to live in caves and were clans that became tribes and united under kings in local lands and those kingdoms then over ran each other and ended up huge empires. Empires then collapsed and people divided in to nations and states and rest is before our very eyes.

There are four kinds of rules in total but we have been through two of them and going through the third one right now but the fourth is awaited. First rule was by strength of one's own arms by only those people who became chiefs of tribes who could defend themselves and their tribes and then kings were chosen the same way ie people who had personal and personnel strength but when too many people come together ideologies are needed for their bonding so that they stick with each other on that basis and that is how priestly classes were brought about by tribal chiefs and kings and emperors to manipulate masses through make beliefs etc in order to secure their rule or grip on people psychologically as well as physically in relation to control of land and resources, production and distribution.

It so happened that people became so influenced by priestly classes due to their ignorance that they threw out their kings at sayings of their priests. This is how rule transferred from kings to priests. In short there was time when it were kings who used to appoint priests to help them control masses but then it changed and it were priests who used to appoint kings because people began to accept what priest told them that is how religions in themselves became institutions for people to live by.

All this ended with beginning of banking systems and now rule is in hands of bankers who back those politicians and priests with their money who are willing to work for them. Just as monarchy is gone and priesthood is gone it is the money power that has to go before the next world order changes it drastically. Each world order had to exhaust before new one could be brought in by humanity till each of them saturates and could no longer work for people. That is when new kind of rule will come about ie real rule of law based upon divine constitution, kjown as the quran which is manifesto for islam=peace for mankind to use it as constitution to build their society upon. This needs highly educated people because ignorant mullas cannot even understand it never mind implement it.

One must realise that in times of rule of kings all laws were made to favour kings, in time of priestly control of masses all laws were made to favour priests and now in time of money power all laws are made to favour the wealthy bank owning families that back politicians and priest who suit them most. So we can see all rules of law were defective right from the beginning because they set one very small party of people against the other huge party of people unfairly for manipulation purposes. This is why all laws were made to control masses of people rather than to truly regulate societies for a better end game or goal. This is the main reason there was never peace in the world because people always had something to fight about with each other and the reason was people did not recognise each other's rights and were not responsible towards each other. It was a world full of people hell bent on using and abusing each other and it is still the case today. All these ruling systems were and are personality based and not rule of law based that quran tells us with its objective of peace in the world.

Unless each person understands these things one is unable to see what the quran is saying in its text and why. This is why I had to explain all this to show wider context of things or if you like the bigger picture. If one therefore does not have the bigger picture in his head he cannot relate quranic verses and hadith reports to real world. It clarifies the manipulation of scriptural texts by original priestly classes in order to fool masses so that they could use them for their own purposes either as kings or as priests. Later generations did not know what really happened during passed generations so this traditions became well founded on false notions or concepts and rules and values and laws. This is all a state and religion separation was all about and is to date. Just a tool for ruling and priestly classes to use and abuse ignorant masses all over the world. The state and religion concepts were separated to make ways for ruling masses in the name of king and religion or country and God. So people who think church and state separation is something recent are badly mistaken rather it was always there since monarchies came about.

This is why neither rulers nor priests or money changers and lenders can be trusted nor they should be. These were man made concepts that were invented by clever, strong and rich people against the ignorant, poor and the weak masses.

All movements that were started by masses ended up in failure not totally but to a great extent because rights for which movement were started were sabotaged and manipulated by rulers and priests through infiltration and bribery of one sort or another. But masses kept on securing little by little some rights for themselves against establishments and the idea remains the same to date. There is no real movement based on good education to over throw the bad ideologies and their social, political, cultural and economic systems, structures, procedures and practices altogether and replace them with something perfect like islamic way of life. All because people do not understand the perfect system so they cannot tell about it to each other so things remain as they are to a great extent.

One can therefore see why there are so many divisions and fractures in the human society as a whole. This is where in comes the quran to help mankind educate themselves about things and change them for their own betterment. Islam is not a religion but a DEEN or a God set goal for mankind to accomplish and maintain. Islam was turned into a religion by mullas ie the muslim priestly class for their kings after the death of the prophet of Allah, the messenger of islam for mankind.

If we read the quran as a manifesto for islam and as a constitution of islam(=peace progress and prosperity) then we see that the quran does not allows us to say and do anything that is harmful for mankind. The quran terms all harmful sayings and doings by people as AL KHABEES=harmful and destructive. This is why other than whatever is khabees we take it as al-tayyib=beneficial. This is basis that is given to us to form laws according to.

The quran tells us that all divine messenger brought to humanity nothing but goodness in all its forms. This is why their coming is a blessing for mankind. Their life and death and rising up all is termed a blessing by Allah in the quran. Now if we say that such and such prophet said or did anything that harmed humanity then we are uttering a lie against Allah who testifies that they never did anything on purpose to harm anyone.

The quran also tells us a rule regarding judging a matter whether it is beneficial or harmful for mankind and that rule is try and see what will result if we took certain actions. If the action will result in benefiting humanity then it is good and if it is going to be harmful then it is bad. This is major argument used in the quran to prove the quranic truth by direct evidence.

To explain the point let us take example of reports that tell us prophet muhammad married a six years old girl. The question is, is there evidence that marrying off very young girls is a bad idea? We know that in general there is.

This being the case if any hadith report tells us things about God or prophet that seem inconsistent with their beings then we must reject it. Why? Because no man is as honourable and dignified as divine messengers. So a reporter in the chain of narrators is either mistaken or is deliberate liar.

You might say, well how can a man such as a reporter of a hadith lie? But then how can a divine messenger go against the set out program of Allah? A man who comes to lead humanity to path of God with set program from him that proves its own authenticity, if he does anything wrong the whole thing collapses. After that hadith becomes totally useless no matter who narrates it. So in my view we cannot prove hadith authentic if it discredits God or any of his messengers. It is because upon that foundation the narrators themselves claims to stand. It is as if you are cutting off the same branch of the tree that you are resting upon. So you fall with it. If you are accepting a person as your leader and yet talk against him as well in a way that discredits him then what are you talking about?

The divine messengers do not come to follow existing wrong ideologies for societies, politics, cultures and economics etc rather they come to change things including their systems, structures, procedures and practices because they are sent with a different goal than that which people follow and make each other's lives hell. They come with a mission to establish a human society that is free from oppression and suppression, injustice and unfairness, cruelty and animosity, regression and stagnation and poverty of all sorts in order to make it peaceful. It is therefore inconceivable that they themselves will throw their own mission into jeopardy by doing anything stupid.

So in my view it is wrong to accept anything that puts any blame on their person because Allah bear witness to their character. This is not the case for hadith reporters. This is why authority of hadith reporters is very limited as compared to divine messengers.

This is my point of view because other way round makes no sense to me and if it does to any, please help understand but please do think before you say or do anything in the name of islam, quran, God and his messengers. This is a serious matter.

1) Do not attribute to God anything that is inconsistent with his nature or his set plan or purpose for mankind. This means not attributing to the quran concepts that are clearly false.

2) Do not attribute to his messengers anything that is inconsistent with their God set mission because the quran testifies that they fulfilled their God given mission.

3) There are only two supernatural events in history A) creation of the universe and B) The divine revelations. Other than that all else is explainable sooner or later as humanity advances in its discoveries of things with time and effort.

4) Islam was opposed by humanity right from the beginning because each time mankind were shown the right path, most of them ignored it and even those who followed it for a time their later generations gave it up as time went by through negligence. Each time people were put on the right path, they just side tracked and today things are not any different.

5) After the final divine messenger, it was up to ulema of ummah to keep people stuck to deen but they failed very badly though not totally. I say totally because all we are left with is complete information about islam but no sense to understand it and make sense of it. It means ulema were only successful in preserving information about islam but failed in giving proper sense of islam to ummah ie they failed to educate people to be able to understand islam properly.

6) It is time to change all that through mutual support ie let us not waste time but help educate each other about proper islam.

Question arises, how to find out what is proper islam? I am trying to answer this question in this thread so please read it.


If you do not build on the foundation provided by Allah then you are not going to be successful. This statement is not a joke, take a look at history of humanity and this will continue in the future. This alone proves the quran divine. It is because despite last 1400 + years we have not been able to put things right by ignoring the quranic program.

Coming to reports like child brides and slave girls for the prophets, it is all thanks to our mullas=priestly class. Why? Because they gave us imperialism in the name of islam. They gave us priesthood in the name of islam. They gave us capitalism in the name of islam. They gave us institution for slavery in the name of islam and I can go on and on and likewise they gave us the right to have child brides in the name of islam and prostitution through concept of short term marriages in the name of islam.

When are we going to start thinking that islam is not a mazhab but ADDEEN and word islam means peace and it is not aqeedah but a God set goal to be accomplished and maintained for the good of humanity?

AQEEDAH or mazhab is make belief because it is not based on any evidence ie it is a system of blind faith to turn humans into animals. Not only it is not based upon evidence but there is ample evidence against it in the quran and in the universe in which we live. No wonder quran calls such people animals or even worse because they are given brains and senses yet they use them not.

If islam means peaceful way of life and it does mean that then how can any man or woman be given right to use and abuse anyone else because that creates trouble not peace in a supposedly good society.

It is therefore very important for people to go though this thread so that we do not talk and do things like ignorant fools. Any piece of information found in islamic sources must be judged by the quranic standard and the quran itself must be judged by standard set by mankind whereby they decide all there cases in their courts of law without any dispute. This standard does not come from humanity itself but God because it is found in the quran and it was in very first divine revelation according to the quran whereby people were told to settle their disputes. Anyone who follows mullas should be helped not condemned or cursed.

Our nonmuslim brothers and sister must also judge islam by same rules they use in their own law courts otherwise their judgement is based upon ignorance and no matter who decides matters on basis of blind faith is absolutely wrong because that position is indefensible. Mere arguments between priestly classes of various religions is proof of that. What has blind faith to do with arguing for what is right or wrong? Blind faith is blind faith so none has the right to argue with each other. Arguments are only for proving who is right or wrong, which shows how mullas make fool of masses therefore masses must educate themselves if they want to make progress and prosper than remain slaves of mullas.

If any of my muslim brethren want to debate with nonmuslims they must read what I have written and prepare themselves. No point taking wrong stand and arguing endlessly to try and defend it. If islam is worth defending then it has to have solid foundation and it does. All religions are invented by priestly classes and it is so obvious from the scriptures of other religions as well. In fact if nonmuslims study their own scriptures in light of the criterion I am putting forth they will see their scriptures support quranic stand and where they disagree they fall apart. A clear proof that quran is really divine in its origin just like the universe because humanity has no valid explanation for existence of either of them.

Finally please educate yourselves so that you are not found acting childish when faced with scrutiny of your stance. When you claim blind faith you are only making fool of yourself and give bad name to your foundation whatever it may be. An ignorant person who claims to be a muslim thus gives bad reputation to islam because his wrong ideas about islam others take as islam and condemned them. This way you are responsible for driving people away from islam because you are acting as bad advertisement for islam. If you claim to be muslims it is only right that you learn islam so that you are a good advertisement for islam. This ummah was supposed to be an exemplary people for other people to see and follow, ask yourselves, are we?

duniya main amno skoon kyun nahin?

aaj se 1400 saal pehle quran ne bataa diya tha keh duniya main amno skoon kyun nahin hai. na sirf yeh balkeh yeh bhi bataaya tha ke quran khudaa ki taraf se aakhri kitaab hai aur ise pehle bahot si kitaaben aur paighambar aaye the kitaabun ke saath aur un kitaabun main bhi deen amno slaamti qaaim karna hi tha.

afsos ka maqaam hai ke aaj tak insaanu ne khudayee baatun ki taraf us tarah tawaju hi nahin di jaisi ke deni chahiye thi.

kitaabun main hamesha yeh bataaya gayaa tha keh sab kharaabiyan insaani maashrun main isi liye hen kyunkeh insaan aik doosre se apna rishta saheeh tarah se pehchaanane ki koshish hi nahin karte. isi liye na woh aapas main achhi tarah se rishte qaaim karne ki salahiyat khud main peda karte hen aur na rishtun ko achhi tarah se qaaim rakh sakte hen.

isi liye islam ka matlab is ke siwaa kuchh aur nahin ho sakta keh Allah ne ham ko apni duniya ko sanwaarne ke liye hukam diya hai khud hamaare hi faaide ke liye. Allah ko na hamare bura karne se kuchh nuqsaan pohnchta hai na hamare kuchh achha karne se faaida.

bas khudaa ne jaisa kaha us ko saheeh tarah se samajh kar waisa karne ko khudaa ki ibaadat kehte hen aur aise log hi khudaa ke achhe bande hen.

Quran main amano salaamti ka liye kaam karne waalun ko mumin kaha gayaa jo logoon main sulah karwaa kar aman qaaim karne ki koshish main lage rehte hen. aamanoo aur aamilussaalihaat ke lafzun par khoob ghoro fikar karen baat samajh main aa jaaye gi.
